Dr. John Frederick Johanson, MD

Not very approachable. Doesn't seem to care what the patient thinks or says. Seems to want an ABC patient-with no complicated issues in gastro. No bedside manner. $$$ & quantity of patients means more to him than quality and remembering his oath taken to be a doctor. We need help not a poor attitude.

Dr Johansen has great bedside manner in hospital&in office. However he was not thorough enough at finding answers to my case. For years I suffered with a couple diseases that could have easily been found thru simple biopsies he never chose to do. This led to severe depresdion&he also didnt inform me until months of severe suffering that it was a medication he had me on. I trusted this doctor fully until I got a new doctor who was proactive in finding answers thru simple biopsies within weeks of getting the new dr. Very glad for new doctor and glad Dr Johansen is gone from clinic!! Hope he learns more NOT at the cost of patients suffering!
