Dr. John Bisbee Johnson, MD

Doctor John is the most caring andhelpful Doctor I have ever had in my 77 years. He was able to control a terrible problem I have had for over thirty years. I start shaking and can't walk without help. this went on for and off for years. Having this problem to raise its ugly head while in recovery room from a surgery I had for my shoulder they called Dr John in. I let him take care of me. And he put me on neruton and I have been almost totally free of these symptons. This man is not only a good doctor, he is a great family man. They come first, with him. He is the kind of doctor that would fit perfectly over 100years ago. I can close my eyes and visualize him in a horse and buggy trudging through storm in the middle of the night to deliver a baby or, whatever. He is strictly an internest. but he is on darned one. When I leave I feel at ease, and know just what is wrong and why. And the reason he may pass you on to another doctor, is because he knows that doctor is what you made… need in that moment. Oh yess his nurses are the best also. They have a great bedside manor, and NEVER, hateful to us when we call or come in.

This has been the best doctor in this area. He always takes the time to talk to you and followup so you start feeling better keep up the good work Dr.

After having Dr. Johnson as my primary care physician for the last 10 years I can say that he is truly a world class doctor. Ten years ago I was dealing with a health issue and consulted several Dr. "specialists" in Indiana and Ohio. After having all of them say that there wasn't anything wrong with me I decided to consult with one last doctor.I made an appointment with Dr. Johnson. He was very patient in listening to my concerns and took the time in listening to the run down of all the tests and what I had been through. After a thorough examination he diagnosed me with a prostate infection. An infection that a urologist had missed even after an expensive and painful scope to look for tumors, as well as the many other tests the other doctors had performed.He even gave me samples of the medicine free of charge as they were very expensive and not available in generic form. Within one week the pain was gone and I was feeling great after suffering for nearly a year. I have never gone to… another doctor since and feel fortunate to have such a great doctor close to me in Batesville. He is friendly and genuinely cares about his patients. In this day and age it is rare to find a Dr who truly cares and wants whats best for their patients vs. whats best for their bottom line.I normally would not go out of my way to write a review for a Dr! However, I feel obligated to him with the care he has provided for me and the many others I have referred to him.

Referred me to out of state pain Dr. who referred me to another state for treatment. Then during an episode of suicidal spinal nerve pain he said he washed his hands of the pain issues and refused treatment. Because of the cross state laws on pain meds I could not get any Indiana hospital to help me without his consent, and this almost caused my death.
