I was a patient of his for 8 years he did several injection in my neck witch never worked in 2018 he broke a needle off in my neck and never documented it have been suffering for almost 2 years he threw me out of his office saying I lied to his staff about a broken needle in my neck I had images from UW Madison that show different

I have been seeing Dr Joe for Ten Years. He Is very compassionate And he talks to you and explains what the problem is and I trust him completely.I would definitely recommend This Pain Dr.

Have had 12 surgeries in 10 years. 4 major neck and 7 shoulders. Just had a major neck revision 3 months ago. Have had severe pain still and was told to go to see him. Met once and he never looked at me to see what I was complaining about. Simply stated that I have a pill problem and should go on Suboxone. I said I am in pain from having screws and plates put into my neck. He said fine but we need to do this. Got Hydrocodone and was told to take 5 a day. It has not helped and I asked to be seen again by him. 2 never returned phone calls later I get in. I tell the Nurse whats going on. He comes in and I say need to do something that I cant sleep sit function with this pain. Was told, sorry your a drug addict. Its because of the detox that your in pain. I asked and told him to check me out. He never ever looked or touched to see that my body is in complete meltdown pain mode and even my rehab people are concerned with the muscle and nerve pain. But not Dr Joseph. He again said if you… want to do Suboxone to come back. He got up and grabbed his laptop and walked out. I had simply asked to have some help to get out of pain and that 6 pills spread out during the day was helping but I was going to be out of the medication soon. He said wait 5 days and I will lower the dose but give you more than 5 to help. I am lost. I come to an appt to have them look at me and help me to get out of pain. A Pain specialist who simply never examined me but says go on a medication to help ween you off the medications. I would love nothing more than to be off medications for pain. The issue here is this. I am in dire pain and was asking for help and was told your problem is that your a Drug addict and I dont want to help. Plain and Simple. I would not give this man a chance to look you in the face and insult you and tell you he will not help you but he will give you suboxone to treat an issue I am not having. Not sure when it became a crime to be in pain. We are now told that this is a abnormal behavior and that you should get help for this and not for the problem your having. I encourage Dr Joseph to have 3 major neck surgeries with 22 screws and 3 plates and bars screwed into the bones and have him tell me how he feels after that.... Its now a issue of malpractice on their parts. To simply dismiss someone as being an addict and not even look at the issue your describing is criminal.

Dr. Joseph is a respectful knowledgeable doctor, who is willing to have the tough informative conversations that most who practice this type of medicine simply are not. He listens, and provides a wide array of options to treat your pain. He is an extremely companionate, yet conservative doctor who could benefit from giving his long-standing patients a bit more leniency with their prescriptions. Only downside to Dr. joseph’s practice is that he is routinely overbooked and patients may spend sometime waiting.

One of the few doctors who will take his time and listen to your concerns, and give you many options. I would recommend Dr. Joseph to anyone!!

Worst physician I ever went to. Treated me for something I did not even speak to him about and shipped me off to physical theraphy for a non releated issue he never even spoke to me about
