He delivered my daughter and it was as if it was just the two of us. He had me focused and took care of the complications of my pregnancy

I would recommend this doctor to my friends. He was very friendly and sensitive to my needs.

I saw Dr Kaplan during my 2nd pregnancy. It was the worst experience ever. I would've changed doctors but I had HMO Insurance so I was stuck. Do not waste your time! He is rude, not personable, nad you cannot trust him at all. He needs to retire.

I am so frustrated with Dr. Kaplan. Ended up in the hospital with contractions (I have had these contractions with my previous pregancies, and my other OB TREATED me for it), and Dr. Kaplan sent me home and told me to "deal with it." I sat in pain for 5 days. When I asked him at my next visit if he could put me out on disability 10 days early, his response was, "Only in America do women become allergic to work due topregnancy." Unbelievable!! Do yourself a favor and choose a different doctor.

I had a horrible expierence with Dr. Kaplan. It was me and my husbands first child and he didnt introduce himself to my husband, never asked how i was doing, didnt knock before coming in when i was de robed (happened 4+ times) he didnt know how to use his own ultra sound machine, at one time i had him and 3 nurses in the ultrasound room with me while my feet were in stirrips tring to get the ultra sound machine on, he didnt have my test results back on my follow up appts. to make sure my numbers were ok. not personable. We actually lost our baby and he wasnt caring and i felt judged when i was in extreme physical pain. I didnt have any trust in him and i think if he was a little caring or personable with the whole process it probably wouldnt have as bad as it was emotionally. From start to finish i was frustrated with him and every time i left his office i had a "bad taste in my mouth". I usually dont rate doctors, i feel like i am pretty easy going and easy to please, but i just dont… want anyone else to have to find out about Dr Kaplan before its to late

I agree his bedside manners are not the best. However, he is a smart and a straight forward MD. He will give you the information you need. I love that he gets straight to the point & doesn't sit there & feed you nonsense. I've talked to nurses that have worked for him (btw I'm a nurse) & they say he is great, demanding but great. I appreciate him wanting to be prepared for all circumstances that may occur in a delivery room.

I have tried more than 5 different gyn's in the past 10 years and Dr. Kaplan is the best ever! He answered all my questions and promptly ran the tests needed to properly diagnose my ongoing issues. If you want a doctor who is straight-forward and honest, addressing your problems head-on, I highly recommend Dr. Kaplan.

I saw Dr. Kaplan for prenatal care.He was extrememly rude on my visits.He would blow off most of my questions,belittle my input about subjects discussed.Flat out insulted me regarding one subject/question,and said he didn't care about other questions I asked.With a 1st pregnancy,I don't know about other women,but I care about how my pregnancy goes,and have questions.He showed no professionalism in my opinion and I wouldn't trust his care or advice with the lack of interest or professionalism he extended to me.

I have been a patient of Doctor Kaplan for four years. He has been very professional and has spent alot of time with me throughout these years. He diagnosied pre-term labor very early on and was able to save the pregnancy. I have also had two surgeries with him, both of which went without any complication. He listened to my needs, was promt to respond to the nursing staff and my needs throughout the hospitalization. He called me at home after discharge to make sure I was doing well and keeps me up to date with all results. I have recommended him to my friends and they feel the same way. I believe him to be a excellent doctor and surgeon. Even when I call the office he is very fast at getting back to me and easy to talk to to. I have had only good experiences with Dr Kaplan.
