Dr. John R Kashmanian, MD

Went to see for an extraction consult. He was rude and very unprofessional to the staff in the room. The way he spoke to me as a patient was unacceptable and unprofessional. I had to get up and walk out of the appointment. As I was taking off the blood pressure cuff and bib, he went to put his hands on me. I had to tell him to not touch me, and as I grabbed my coat we exchanged words. He treated it as a big joke. I will never return there again.

Doesn't care about his patients. Had 3 impacted wisdom teeth extracted. 3-4 days after the surgery the pain was excruciating, so we called the office and they told us the pain was normal (this was the worst pain I've ever felt in my entire life). Said to call primary care doctor with any follow up questions since they were going on Christmas vacation for 2 weeks. 3 days later the pain became so bad I went to the ER on Christmas day. Ended up spending 3 days in the hospital on IV antibiotics due to a dental abscess and was sent home with strong oral antibiotics. The doctors and nure practitioners at the hospital tried to call him with no answer since he was on holiday. They were shocked he didn't have anyone on call for emergencies. If I could give him 0 stars I would. It's unprofessional to assume patients won't have complications following any procedure. There also was no follow up appointment following the initial extraction surgery. Clearly does not care about his patients… well being, only in it for the $$$.

Dr was cocky and rude for no apparent reason

Never even had anything done! The appointment was for my 15 year old daughter that has extreme dental anxiety! The woman was rude and talked down to her.. They made a huge 20 minute deal about me going back with her.. I tried to explain her anxiety and they just did not care or try to make her comfortable! We left the office!

Can't say enough POSITIVE statements about him . I wish more Doctors were as true to their oaths as he is . I just LOVE him & his STAFF !!

Awful, Uncaring Staff! I have never met such a rude receptionist ever. I called to reschedule an appointment 24 hours in advance and she would not let me. She told me I had to do it 48 hours in advance even when it clearly states on the appointment card 24 hours. She was so rude and unprofessional I will not be going back.

I would give him 0 stars if I could. PLEASE, do not go to this oral surgeon. I have limited insurance and I didn't have many options, but if I could go back in time I would rather pay the money out of pocket and get the surgery with someone else. I have had multiple problems since my extraction and Dr. Kashmanian refused to see me or talk to me after 2 weeks - even when I told the office I was still in excruciating pain and thought I had an infection because I could feel pus coming out (I later went somewhere else and found out I did have an infection). Dr. Kashmanian had the nerve to tell me that I "just have low pain tolerance". I've had to go to other dentists and pay out of pocket for all my services which is in the hundreds now. I have been in excruciating pain since the surgery over 6 weeks ago and have had reoccuring infections. We are still in the process of trying to figure out what is going on, but it is on hold because I can't afford it out of pocket right now. So I have to… just deal with the pain until I can pay for it, because my own oral surgeon refuses to treat a patient whom he did surgery on. It has been an extremely difficult 6 weeks and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Every oral surgeon's office I have spoken with has told me that it is unheard of for an oral surgeon to not see a patient after surgery. I hope that this post can save another person from going through what I am going through. I'm not saying everyone will have all these complications, but if it happens, you deserve to have an oral surgeon that is caring and willing to help you throughout the process, and Dr. Kashmanian is not that oral surgeon. Go somewhere else, anywhere else. Don't let insurance limit your options. Surgery is a huge process and take it from someone who has had the worst experience, it is worth checking out the surgeon beforehand and asking around.
