Dr. John James Kavlich III, MD

I worked with Dr Kavlich. He sleeps with the medical assistants, it's a real problem.

I briefly worked for Dr Kavlich almost 20 years ago. He would sleep with his different medical assistants, and encourage his ever-rotating door of doctors that he employed to do the same. He supplied medications like Soma as well. So this isn't surprising.

Where to start. Well, Dr Kavlich was my family doctor for 6 years. He has a great intuition and no nonsense approach -he DID fight for my family’s health. Like other reviews, I can personally attest that he got complex diagnosis correct. He was almost like House, MD in that regard. At first, I thought his decor was eclectic and that was fine, until it got creepy. I did not mind him suggesting a supplement before a prescription - he explained why. I DID mind when he wanted to charge to complete a student physical form for my son and I DID mind his billing practice for a kids immunization - each kid had a copay but each shot was billed as a separate “appointment.” My insurance questioned why they were billed for 9 separate 15 minute appointments. I’m sorry to read of Dr Kavlich’s recent troubles. He does not deserve his personal life put out there. He’s a no nonsense doctor with great technical skills, adequate bedside manners, but horrific business acumen. I hope he returns… to mental wellness soon.

Dr. Kavlich was both my mother's and my doctor. He is a great guy and most importantly great doctor. His office wasn't a mess at all. People exaggerate.

In the past my son, my wife and also I have had treatment from Dr John Kavlich. My wife had a routine followup after a treatment by a specialist when he noticed some unusual bruises. Ultimately, his investigation led to finding my wife had contracted a rare "Asian" hepatitis ( most likely from a local nail salon) that could have cost her life in 5 years, if untreated. Hopefully, the episode that Dr. Kavlich has experienced can be treated and controlled and Berea will once again get back a good, dedicated family doctor.

I'm a patient of the good Dr.s. and for many years he has treated me with the kindness and respect I so desserved. Sorry to hear of his misfortunes. He like many characters if Bereas past, has had a wonderful mix of excentricity in it's citizenship that provided that " personal touch " that will never be duplicated. That provided the soul healing aspect not provided by today's Western streamline politically correct bunch of different duchbags calling themselves DR...... With a nticeptic nin_ effective suto,. Cutes. Afraid to percscribe anything more than 200 mg. Tylenol for cronic cancer patients. ...shame shame shame. No balls to do what is. Inheriently correct in the face of a cold callos society determined to hide behide there fears of big brother stripping themselves of yet , anouther civil liberty...... Go ahead townspoeple...throw the first stone. Light the tourcher. Gather the pitchforks and ......let's go chase anouther one,. Jesus Christ himself would be… puking on himself to know that you are his chosen people.....

Glad to see Ohio suspended his license. I felt like I was visiting some back-alley pawn shop in the waiting room, then he handed me prescription samples that we're two years past expiration and told me what he wanted to prescribe (hormone therapy for a pulled abdominal muscle?). I thanked him, there the samples out, and carefully wove my way out past the garbage. His nurse, a mean tempered woman named Shirley, made some comment about addicts not getting what they want. I didn't want pills, I just wanted to know why my side hurt when I moved, but thank you nurse Rottweiler for the assumption. Good riddance to bad garbage.

I like him. His no nonsense attitude makes appointments quick and so far, hes done right for me.
