Dr. John Geoffrey Keating, MD

He's doing a LOT of 2nd opinion exams lately, by his own admission. (maybe can't get enough patients anymore?) But the problem is, he LIES, probably to endear himself with the workers' comp insurance companies sending claimants to him. His staff will also lie as his "witnesses". So, your only recourse is to RECORD EVERY MINUTE of the appt, from when you enter the door. It's legal in Georgia, and since they lie so horribly, it's your only protection. They don't allow anybody to go back with you, therefore you don't get to have a witness to their lies. Just be forewarned. If you have it recorded, you'll at least have proof of his lies.

Dr. Keating - I beg you to please stop performing surgery on veterinary patients. You are doing harm, whether knowingly or unknowingly. You are not trained in veterinary surgery, and your procedures are both unethical and horrifically inappropriate. As an animal lover, advocate, and trained veterinary surgeon, I beg you to please cease and desist before you or your colleagues cause any further harm.

Dr Keating is awesome! My son suffered a major trauma and Dr Keating was so reassuring and explained everything. His office staff was awesome too!

I had been to 8 different doctors, had back surgery and was still having a terrible time walking. I saw an article about Dr Keating and his Dr friends doing surgery on a dog that was hit near the hospital. I wanted to see that Doctor! So i have been through self pay thousands of dollars in tests a $25,000 back surgery, pain mgmt, electric needles and more and no doctor could figure out what was wrong with me. I saw Dr Keeting watching me hobble into my appointment room in his really cool office. He came in and asked a couple questions and he said I would like to xray your hips. It turned out that all those other doctors, MRI's, surgeons missed that my hips were bone on bone, no cartilage. Got my hips replaced and 4 years later I am 100%, couldn't be happier! Don t take any medication and lost 80 pounds. Thank you so much Dr Keeting!

All I can say is thank goodness Dr. Keating was the doctor on call at Atlanta Medical Center when I was brought in back in May 2011. I had a scooter accident breaking my right arm and left Tibia. I had a total of three surgeries, had to wear a external fix on my leg and be off my leg for almost 6 months. I could not have asked for a better doctor. If you need orthopedic surgery he is the doctor you want, I highly recommend Dr. Keating!

Dr. Keating is an excellent doctor that really cares about his patients. The staff is very friendly as well. Especially the girl up front named Audrey.

In 1999 my husband had a near fatal motorcycle accident. He was lifeflighted to Atlanta Medical. When I got there, I wasn't sure if he would ever walk again. God blessed us with Dr. Keating being on call that day. He not only reconstructed my husband's crushed pelvis and both his broken arms, but looking at him today you would probably never know anything had happened to him. Dr. Keating was so kind and so good to us. He always kept post it notes in his pocket so he could draw diagrams for me showing me the procedures he had done so I wouldn't be in the dark. I can sincerely say I thank God every day for Dr. Keating and cannot possibly say what the outcome might have been had God not smiled on us that day and given us Dr. Keating.
