Dr. John Calhoun Killian, MD

The worse experience I have ever encountered. The place was DIRTY, the door falling apart and Dr killian was horrible, he should not be accessing patients. I actually thought I was getting punked, this has to be a scam. He didn’t even have my paperwork ready it was horrible …straight insurance scam.

RUN FOR THE HILLS! HORRENDOUS!

I went to Dr Killian because I wanted a second opinion on my knee. I had been told that I needed surgery on it. Dr Killian took his time with me and explained that although I had arthritis, I did not need surgery at this time. He gave me an injection (cortisone?) and sent me for physical therapy. I feel like a new person. I will always be grateful to him and will continue going to him. I was very happy with the physical therapy I received as well!

Very poor bedside manor! One of the worse experiences I’ve had with a Dr. no personality, arrogant and demoralizing! Very sad human being!

I was "examined" at Dr. Killians' office. In entering the office I recognized that his filing system protocol violated several of the most sacred HIPPA Laws known. All records in his office are fully exposed and piled everywhere. They were unprotected and unsecured with no file cabinets whatsoever. For such a blatant disregard of the HIPPA Laws (enacted to protect us) then what does this say about him as a doctor? Not a diploma on any wall or even a picture of anything. Or the outright refusal to tell me when did he last perform a surgical procedure is quite telling. Look at the reviews and start applying common sense and we have a rogue piece of garbage accepting payoffs to write despicable outright lies in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary. This is usually defined as a hack. You must draw that conclusion. Since poor is the lowest rating and they dont offer categories like "alert the board of ethics" or the Medical association must be brought in. Or the state should… close this chop shop forthwith and perform a forensic accounting. I'll just have to check poor. Everyone is on notice, Watch your backs!!! This is an underhanded and dishonest man who continues to break the law everyday he opens his doors. Simply go online and contact the office for civil rights and start with the breach of your private documents and go from there. Do not allow him to continue, we have rights and they must be exercised.

I don't know who or how this man obtained the D and r before his name. Because if he's a doctor we are all in a lot of trouble. First, upon entering what you may refer to as an office (although I would call it a crack den). The office could be used for one of those episodes of hoarders. We said hello three or four times because no one was there and all of a sudden the papers moved and an old lady said "what do you want. We actually sprayed sanitizer on our hands and held it to our nose. We were brought into a dingy room and I was asked to put on a gown. In 45 plus years of being examined by doctors I have never encountered someone that was just so rude and poorly spoken. It felt as though he was trying to act like a doctor but had no idea what he was doing. The last IME I went to the doctor was well groomed and well spoken and his office was neat and orderly and full of patients, like a normal office. Killian did not have one single degree or picture of any type whatsoever. If this… wasn't the definition of quack I don't know what is? You could be having a heart attack and he would testify that you are fine and long as he gets his almighty check was the comp carrier. If you are stuck going to him expect to wait there over an hour and then take all of your medical evidence and mark it ALL opposite of what it says. The most filthy, disgusting and rude doctors of all times. BEWARE HE IS OWNED BY INSURANCE CARRIER. HE wouldn't even answer the last time he performed surgery.

Dr. Killians office looks like a hoarders house. The front desk is covered with paperwork scattered everywhere. The front door to the office is cracked and doesn't close. Two very hostile women were behind the desk. Immediately it felt like there was something very wrong with the situation. When I finally did see Dr Killian, he proceeded to ask me a lot of questions about my accident yet almost all had nothing to do with what an orthopedist should be asking. He asked for me to take off my clothes and put on a gown which I refused because again, the whole thing felt wrong. He would not look me in the eye and fiddled around pretending to measure my knees. DO NOT GO TO HIM. He is a fraud

Was sent to this md for workmans comp, what a hack. You could be dead and he would say that your okay. I'm disabled with multiple injuries and this clown didn't care or correctly file diagnosis. It is just a game, he gets paid by ins. company to say whatever benefits them. He should be ashamed of himself. The office is a joke a and filthy, I was afraid of catching something.

The office was filthy, stuff piled high. The secretary had to climb over files while holding on to the counter! I was afraid to sit on the chairs, didn't want to catch a disease. Then I was there to have my wrist and shoulder examined, they wanted me to remove all my clothing from the waist up and put on a paper gown. I said no!!!! I will not take my clothes off. What a sleeze ball.

It went to his office for IME and arrived to find mail and paper/charts 6" high strewn all over the front desk, patients charts and papers stacked all over the counters and floor and a receptionist on a personal phone call for over 10 minutes before I was acknowledged. He did. Not knock before entering the exam room where just just barely finished changing into the gown after reading the sheet explaining how much to disrobe based on diagnosis. Also the exam room was not clean with dirt and stains on the carpeted floor which I was asked to walk barefoot on. Too afraid to decline. The cabinet where he took his exam tools out of (not cleaned before or after use on me) was a mess. He never made eye contact, was very cold, and robot like that I couldn't even communicate everything I wanted to turn he just walked out. I didn't know if I was done or if he was coming back since he walked out before to see one of his regular patients and left the door wide open. He wrote a report that was not… accurate, leaving out permanent information and contradicting himself.
