Dr. Koostra is a very caring and compassionate doctor. My mother was one of his very first patients. She had a very serious lung condition from childhood. He knew how to treat her condition immediately. He always greeted her with a smile and made her feel as though she was the only patient he had. I had a very scary bout with pneumonia / asthma in 2005 and now I am his patient. My mother is deceased now and Dr. Koostra greets me with the same smile and kind attention he gave my mother. I have a friend who is also Dr. Koostra's patient and she also is very happy she is him. Dr. Koostra is an expert in his field and I would recommend him!

Made a total of three different appointments to see this doctor. The day of the scheduled appointments the doctor cancelled them due to conflicts in his schedule. I was a first time patient so the rescheduled visit was approximately a month after the day of the scheduled appointment. Spent three months trying to get in. Still never got in to see him. Scheduling personnel are extremely rude and unprofessional.

I am not sure if people are aware that this Doctor really is "protected" from the negative feedback that people or employees truly feel about how the company is run.

Dr. Koostra was on-call at the hospital when I was admitted through the ER in 2008.. A true godsend as far as I'm concerned. Always, always a smile and sometimes a hug...but he really listen's to what you have to say. He is not judgemental and makes you feel like you are not alone and always leaves a smile on my face and the absolute best care to get me back to my normal! He has gotten me through some very scary times with my health and my wellbeing and I can truly say he is the best in his field.
