Dr. John Anthony Krishingner, DDS

“This is a great time to be in the Dental Profession. The technological advances that dentistry now offers make dentistry less painful, quicker, and more predictable. I also love the fact the Dental Profession now takes a look at the whole person (mind and body) and not just their mouth. I love the process when a patient comes in hating to smile and leaves after treatment with a big smile for the first time in years. Dr. John Krishingner and his family moved to the Hendersonville area in 1976. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Asheville, in 1995. He then spent the next eight years teaching high school and running his father's Surgical practice in Fletcher, North Carolina. Dr. Krishingner earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry …(located in southern California) in 2006. After being away for his schooling, Dr. Krishingner is more than glad to come back to the place he grew up.
Dr. John Krishingner and his wife Julie (who is also a Dental Hygienist in the practice) have two children, Tarah and Lantz. He enjoys running, (Just recently ran the LA Marathon) hiking, water skiing, and anything to do with sports and the outdoors.
While at Loma Linda, Dr. Krishingner was provided the chance to take part in Dental mission services to many areas that do not typically receive dental care throughout Southern California, Mexico, and the Caribbean islands. Loma Linda also provided Dr. Krishingner with extensive clinical training in all areas of general dentistry, including: Cosmetic Dentistry; Endodontics (root canals); Operative Dentistry (fillings), Prosthodontics (crowns, bridges, and dentures); Oral Surgery; Periodontics (gums related problems) as well as Pedodontics (Children's Dentistry). He is a member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, and the Transylvania County Dental Society.
