John Kuldau, MD

he was late for the Tele appointment- did not apologize- Did not address my most critical symptom-high liver enzyme- contacted him through scripps portal and he never responded- Try to find another doctor.

Dr. Kuldua is my gastroenterologist and i have had many since being diagnosed with Crohn’s at age 8, I am 41 yrs old now and have had to have to crohn’s related surgeries at scripps torrey pines. Doctor Kuldua is compassionate and knowledgable and will answer any questions you have appropriate to his field, I have had other doctors not nearly as compassionate or as easy to talk to, he can be hard to get a hold of but i believe that is because he isn’t always in the office seeing patients he spends a lot of time doing procedures endoscopies, colonoscopies etc. His appointment scheduler is also very attentive and friendly and he typically has me sit with her toschedule follow up appointments at the end of each appointment. Another plus is that I don’t think he plans on retiring anytime soonso if you do choose to consult with him as your gastrospecialist I think your pretty secure in that he plans to continue practicing for many years here in SD. I only mention this cause my previous… doctors have either retired or moved ultimately leading me to find Dr. Kuldua.

I was referred to Dr. Kuldau by Dr. Gaston Molina, my primary care physician. He reviewed my history from another system and said that he didn't think surgery was necessary and the issue could be handled through an endoscopy. The endoscopy was performed and the issue resolved. Nothing about Dr. Kuldau or the procedure could have gone better. An excellent referral and I would highly recommend.

Really? This is a total waste of my money and a joke. Awful doctor. Did not address my main issue and his solution was laughable. T Will never go back.

Dr Kuldau is one of the nicest physicians that I used to see on a regular basis. Even though my problems have been solved by him, he always greets me warmly whenever we see each other in the hall.
