John Kurahara graduated with honors from Punahou School in 1975. He then went on to graduate with honors from Lewis & Clark college in Portland, Oregon. In 1983, Dr. Kurahara graduated from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in Seattle, Washington. From 1983 to 1984 Dr. Kurahara earned his General Practice Dental Residency at Queen's Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. To this day he is an active staff member of the Queen's Medical Center Division of Dentistry.
From 1990 to 1992, Dr. Kurahara attended and graduated from the Postgraduate Endodontic Program at the University of Washington School of Dentistry. Then in 1992. he joined Honolulu Endodontics as an associate. Dr. Kurahara is currently a partner of Honolulu Endodontics, Inc.
Outside of the office, Dr. Kurahara is married to Robyn K. Kurahara, whom is a dental hygienist. Dr. Kurahara's hobbies include fishing and gardening.
