Dr. John Patrick La Grand, MD

I saw Dr. Lagrand for pre-natal care 7 years ago with my high-risk pregnancy, and he recently completed my total hysterectomy. I cannot recommend him ENOUGH. Dr. Lagrand has the best bedside manner, clearly explains every option and procedure, and completed my surgery laparoscopically through a single port in my bellybutton (with no visible scars). Given the often embarrassing, invasive, and sometimes scary nature of OBGYN visits, Dr. Lagrand has consistently made every visit I've had to his office as enjoyable and (dare I say fun?!) as possible. He is straightforward, kind, a great listener, and very empathetic. He uses humor to diffuse your nerves, and is very easy to talk to. I'm grateful I'll never need another PAP but I'm honestly a little sad to no longer have a need for his services. If you're looking for prenatal, general gynecological care, or considering a hysterectomy, please choose Dr. Lagrand. You will be so glad you did.

Dr LaGrand was amazing to work with! He is medicine and patient based. He listened, and he took my pain seriously. We talked about the different options and he agreed that a full hysterectomy was the best option. Which is exactly what I wanted. I do not have children, nor did I ever want any. He was fine with that as well. He has a great bedside manner. The staff at Advanced OBGYN are all amazing, kind, caring people. They all made this experience so much easier and less stressful. I highly recommend them for any of your OBGYN needs.

Dr. Lagrand is very easy to talk to and knowledgeable. I was having lower abdominal pressure and pain. Felt like my uterus was filling up with blood. I also had a metal taste in my mouth. I had already had an ablation 4 yrs ago for heavy bleeding and large blood clots. Dr. Lagrand went over test and we decided on a histerectomy. He only makes one incision in the bellybutton. This makes the healing process much faster! I was back to work and feeling great in 8 weeks.

Referral to Dr Lagrand by PCP because of prolapsed uterus. Did not know this surgery could be done laproscopicaly thru belly button (only incision) and went home same day! Only on pain pills 3 days and surprised at how amazing I felt! Dr. Lagrand is highly skilled and knowledgeable in this procedure. Not many surgeons can do it this way. At my pre/post visits, I felt like I was his only patient. He thoroughly explained everything and did the post op teaching himself. He clearly has a passion for what he does and puts the patient first. He even held my hand until I fell asleep in surgery. I would highly recommend him to anyone because of the great experience I had! Words to describe him: highly skilled, meticulous, thorough, efficient, and compassionate. I wish I would have had this surgery done sooner.

I had Mona Lisa procedure because of pain during and after intercourse for over 20 years Dr LaGrand walked through the procedure prior and was very caring I am a post menopausal and the Mona Lisa procedure works!! Thank you Dr LaGrand

Excellent, Dr. LaGrand is compassionate and kind. I had laser treatments that were painful but successful, and I was very satisfied with the procedure and care that I received. It is obvious that Dr. LaGrand cares about what he does.

Very kind, gentle, compassionate Dr. Who is very good at what he does. He really cares about his pts. Not just their medical condition but about the person as a whole. He spends time with you and never tries to rush you even when he is really busy. When it is your turn you are his only concern.

I had issues for years, other doctors tried to help out, but Dr. Lagrand knew exactly what to do right away, and took care of the issues! and more~ amazing doctor, fun doctor. Highly recommend him as a doctor!!
