Dr. John Eugene Lapkass, MD

Dr Lapkass is extremely professional while also being very very personable and friendly. He is never in a hurry and has all the time you will need to get all your questions answered. Every visit to his office has been a very enjoyable experience that I always look forward to.

I feel very fortunate to have chosen Dr Lapkass as my orthopedic surgeon. I was playing rec league ice hockey 3 months after he performed a total hip replacement (anterior method) for me. This summer he performed total replacement of both my knees and I am extremely happy with the results. Dr Lapkass and his entire staff are very personable and obiously care about their patients which makes the experience so much more pleasant. I can also highly recommend the physical therapy department for post surgical follow up.

Dr. Lapkass is the best of the best. He did a total replacement on my very active husbands complicated (bone damage from previous accident) knee. After careful rehab he was biking AND skiing that year. Recently I ruptured my hamstring and Dr. Lapkass reattached it. I'm 3 months out and after an abundance of caution and excellent coordination between Dr. Lapkass and my PT, seem like I am well ahead of schedule on rehab goals. I believe he did a flawless job and expect to ski this winter. He is also about the nicest person you could ever meet.

I found Dr. Lapkass & his team of caregivers in 2016 when I could no long function in my job with extreme shoulder pain. He was not only an excellent surgeon, which I discovered through a shoulder replacement, but his level of caring & compassion was excellent also. Because of my trust in his care, when the quality of my life was interrupted again with pain, I reached out to them for help, & received it in 2021 with a hip replacement. Life is better with the care I received medically, & emotionally having been able to be a patient with Dr. Lapkass & his team. I am very grateful.

My visits with Dr. Lapkass have always been exceptional. He explains in great detail and answers any questions that I have. I recently had a partial knee replacement. I was very happy with the outcome of the surgery that Dr. Lapkass performed. I will be having more surgeries with Dr. Lapkass.

I had a right hip arthroscopy done by Dr Lapass 4 months ago. I am so pleased with my result and how great I feel! Dr Lapkass is an excellent and very skilled surgeon. His nurse Krissy is wonderful, very knowledgeable, and caring. Highly recommended.
