Spent less than a minute with me at each appt and during that time asked me about my “flexibility” and if I had been practicing doing splits to help with child birth! I’m here at a high risk pregnancy appt and that’s the main question to ask?! What a joke!

Dr Larson was literally Godsent!

I have had both a D&E and D&C performed by Dr. Larsen. The first for a non-viable pregnancy which was devastating and the second for a miscarriage that had started. He is the kindest man and I felt like my situations both times were very important to him. He wasn't my doctor originally but was pulled in both times by others for his knowledge and expertise - and he went out of his way to schedule my procedures. Additionally, a close friend had pre-eclampsia and she was so helped by him, she cried when she had her last appointment after her daughter was born.

A horrendous doctor with a terrible bedside manner. At 31 weeks pregnant, he asked me if I planned to "eat my way through pregnancy.". I had gained only 21 pounds at that point. He told me that I shouldn't use as a model all the women sitting in the waiting room, as they were too fat. The practice failed to give me the initial information on what to do and not do in pregnancy, and I wasn't told until 20 weeks in that I should've been given brochures explaining these things.

We lost a baby at 16 weeks and Dr. Larsen was very knowledgeable and thorough about helping us discover why and we got treatment for the next pregnancy which was successful. During the time of the second pregnancy he was very available to answer my questions and concerns and at each appointment he was very reassuring. I can see why people would think he is uncaring because he is not Mr. Warm and Fuzzy. He has a rather frank disposition and a dry sense of humor and doesn't do a lot of pandering to fears or tears but rather handles them in a calm, matter of fact fashion. He cold stand to be more sympathetic but I do think he is a great doctor who knows what he is doing and very available to patients outside of the office appointments.

My husband and met Dr. Larsen today and though he was professional and thorough. His expertise was very reassuring. We found him to be easy to talk to and approachable.

He does not care about people and does not provide proper care to mothers or babies. He is pompous and insensitive to the needs of pregnant women. I would not risk my life or that of my unborn child dealing with a person as inhumane as he.

Horrible Dr. who cares nothing about people.
