Dr. John Michael Lawless JR.

My partner had a great experience with Dr. Lawless, however he is no longer involved in the practice. So when he called the office today he was told the new doctor taking over his case has dropped him as a patient because he missed a blood work appointment, he explained that his Mother was given a short time to live and wanted to die at home and he spent the past couple months helping out his Mother and the new doctor said he is still dropping him. What kind of doctor does that, I would never recommend this practice to anyone. Such a disgrace

Poor Dr. If you want treatment go elsewhere, he doesn't listen!

dangerous doctor! told my friend he had mold ... he had a major heart attack two days after his last appointment. Had been there several times with symptoms! Its not the first incident I have heard about this doctor!

I was a patient of Dr. Lawless for 17 years before moving away. He continues to be the physician for a couple of our adult children. He is very knowledgeable and compassionate. He listens to patient concerns, values preventative medicine and x-rays and labs are done in the office, Staff was always helpful, even when I requested medical records. Office is very busy but there is adepuate staffing (office staff, medical assistants, lab and x-ray techs).

We were patients for 13 years. We asked to view our medical records. An hour later the office manager, Lynn threatened us and terminated us as patients. Then said if we didn't like it we would be sent a letter to take us out of the practice. She slammed the phone down and we've been denied access to all our records, referral services and medical services. On 1-26-18 we filed complaints with Health and Human Services Patient Rights and will also file with the State of PA.

Staff made a mistake and rather than apologize, spoke with an attitude towards me over the phone. Dr. Lawless is a nice guy otherwise.

My BLOOD PRESSURE was "VERY HIGH" my BAD CHOLESTROL was "OFF THE CHARTS. I am a father of 3 daughters to a sometimes great wife. I inherited these traits from my parents and grandparents. DR. LAWLESS - THANK YOU!!! You have done a GREAT JOB in bring my numbers where they SHOULD BE!! You have put my wife, my children and myself at ease! Even though you are not in my medical plan, it is well worth it to come see you when I need medical care. You have always been right on the mark with your diagnosis and treatment.

Dr. Lawless is more interested in preserving his practice than protecting his patients. He has a patient who is an alcoholic, and he regularly prescribes her pain medication (i.e. Vicodin) which she is addicted to. He was a major contributor to destroying her children' lives for quite some time because he was more interested in hiding the truth than doing the right thing. He is a disgrace and should be avoided at all costs.

incorrectly diagnosed my 15 yr old daughter who has now been diagnosed with ADD and was having headaches & cracked her back/neck which made the pain worse and then the next appointment prescribed cymbalta which specifically states not to give to under 18got my records (with a fight) and left would never recommend him
