Dr. John Kevin Lehr, OD

Dr. Lehr received his doctoral degree from Illinois College of Optometry in 1999 and his undergraduate degree from St. Mary’s College of Maryland. Before joining Dr. McArdle in private practice, Dr. Lehr worked for TLC Laser Eye Centers and was in group practice with ophthalmologists where he focused on surgical patient management, ocular disease and diagnosis and treatment of dry eye.While at TLC, Dr. Lehr held several positions; he was a Regional Director, overseeing 10 centers in the Midwest, a Director of Optometric Services and the Clinical Director of the Chicago (Westchester) center. In his various roles, Dr. Lehr was responsible for patient education and care, the development and education of optometrists within the company as well as supporting optometry on the national level.Dr. Lehr is a member of the American Optometric Association, Illinois Optometric Association, and the Optometric Cornea, Cataract and Refractive Society. Dr. Lehr has lectured extensively on laser vision …correction, dry eye disease and ocular allergy. Dr. Lehr is proud to call Naperville his home and has lived here since 2004.
