Excellent Doctor..

I have been a patient of Dr Leonard s since 2012. I was diagnosed at another institution and the head of the lymphoma service said to do nothing. I was not comfortable with that answer so I requested a referral to a different doctor at a different hospital! I received 2 names one at Memorial Sloan Kettering and Dr Leonard at NYPresbyterian. I read the statement he wrote and knew he was the right doctor for me! When I met him he confirmed my first impression from his written statement. He tries to help everyone who sees him in the best way possible! I know Dr Leonard for twelve years and he is the sweetest kindest man and doctor! He has kept my lymphoma under control and it is always a pleasure to see him e eryn6 months! I give hime a 10 out of 10 rating! doctor!

I was diagnosed with low grade B cell lymphoma in 2004 at another hospital and underwent 5 months of chemo. A doctor friend referred me to Dr Leonard for a second opinion and I am very thankful. He spent a long time with me and was very compassionate and reassuring to this very scared patient. A year later lymphoma came back in the orbit of my left eye. He gave me all the options and we decided on immunotherapy maintenance with Rituxan, the least harmful option. I have been seeing him ever since and now he is like an old friend. He does blood work, checks my lymph nodes and my eye, and answers any questions. Then I go for my treatment. It is very routine and I am very grateful to have found him. It is now 20 years later and I am relatively healthy 78 year old and play picklenball 5 days a week!
