Dr. John Raphael Levinson, MD

Dr. Levinson has been my cardiologist for over 10 years. He is brilliant and caring. He thinks about the whole patient--not only the medical issue at hand (although of course he is fantastic on that score, as well). When I was in my 20s and needed heart surgery, he took the time to make sure I understood all the options and had as much information as possible to help me make decisions. Then, when the decision had been made, he went out of his way to discuss my case with several cardiac surgeons, and get the one he believed would be best for me. It's open-heart surgery; there will be scars. But Dr. Levinson went the extra mile to make sure that as a young woman, I got absolutely top-class treatment as far as minimizing the visible effects was concerned. My parents love this man. His staff seems to adore him. Basically cannot say enough good things about John Levinson. You will be in great hands with him.
