Dr. John Tiunghan Li, MD

John T. Li, MD joined the faculty at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles in the division of anesthesia/critical care medicine in July of 2004. He completed his pediatric critical care training at the University of Washington, Seattle in 2002 followed by a two-year National Research Science Award fellowship in the division of general surgery, which he finished in 2004. He did his pediatric residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical center after receiving his medical degree from Tulane University. He received a B.A. in molecular biology from his hometown university, University of California, Berkeley in 1990. In addition to his clinical practice in pediatric critical care, he is currently investigating molecular mechanisms of lung development and repair after injury in Parvis Minoo's laboratory at the University of Southern California.
