I go home everyday knowing I have listened to someone's needs, improved their smile and confidence and made a positive change in their life. I know they will remember me and the experience forever. I still remember my orthodontist and thank him every time I smile!
Education and Continuing Education
In order to become an orthodontist, I received both my DDS and Orthodontic Certificate from University of Illinois at Chicago. Although my required education is complete, I know that in order to provide our patients with the best services possible, I must continuously be learning new things.
I am proud to be taking continuing education courses to offer my patients the most up to date techniques and technology. I feel it is important to offer cosmetic alternatives for patients concerned with wearing traditional metal braces. I have been an Invisalign certified provider since 2001. I have also completed classes in SmartClipâ„¢ self-ligating technology and placement and …utilization of temporary anchorage devices (TAD's) or mini-implants. Both advances allow for faster treatment and fewer visits for our busy patients!
Our Office
Every patient has unique concerns about their smile, dental health and appearance. I love the challenge of motivating the patients and getting them involved in treatment! I get to be a part of the positive change in the patients' self-confidence as we transform their timid grins to beautiful smiles. It's a wonderful process, and there's nothing like seeing the light in the patients' eyes as they first see their new smile!
Our practice isn't all about work all the time; we love to have a great time with our patients! We play rock and roll on the radio, and watch sports and Hannah Montana on our TVs. We even give prizes for good tooth brushing and seasonal specials! I love to share my funny braces and school experiences with our young patients!
We have the most talented, experienced and caring team in the area. Some of our employees have been here for over 25 years, and we now employ their children! Almost all of them have worn braces themselves. They are compassionate because they know how you feel.
Family Life
My wife and I have lived in St. John for the past 13 years, and are happy to raise our three children in this community! The only other member of our family is a hamster, who happens to be the smartest hamster in the world!
I have been a member of St. Joseph's Church for 10 years. You can see me cut the church grass any given week. I have coached youth baseball and basketball in St. John and Dyer for five years, and love it! In my spare time, I love to play hockey and fish.
If you go to the hospital and think you see me delivering babies, don't be alarmed! I have an identical twin brother who is an Obstetrician. Be sure to say hello if he's not too busy!
