Dr. John Taylor Lockard

Dr. Lockard has been in the full-time practice of orthodontics since 1978. Raised in Oklahoma, he graduated from Bartlesville High School, received his bachelor's degree from the University of Oklahoma and graduated with honors from the University of Missouri School of Dentistry in 1973. Dr. Lockard served as a Captain in the U.S. Army Dental corps for two years, receiving the Army Commendation Medal upon completion of his service. He then completed his Master's degree in orthodontics at the University of North Carolina.
Dr. Lockard is a Diplomate of American Board of Orthodontics and a Fellow of the International College of Dentists and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. He is an associate professor at the University of Oklahoma School of Dentistry and is past president of the Oklahoma Orthodontic Society and Tulsa County Dental Society.
Dr. Lockard and his wife, Kathryn, have two married children and two grandsons. In his spare time, Dr. Lockard enjoys golfing, fishing, hunting and …spending time with his family and friends. John and Kathryn belong to Kirk of the Hills Presbyterian Church.

Hello, my name is Pam. I was born and raised in sunny California and moved to Oklahoma in 1980. I have worked in the dental field since 1966 and have been with Dr. Lockard since 1983. I am the office manager/treatment coordinator and enjoy being the first person you visit with when you call our office to schedule your initial new patient appointment. I have been married for 35 years and have 2 adult children and 2 beautiful grandchildren. When I'm not working I enjoy sewing, crafts, decorating and of course spoiling my grandkids. Our staff looks forward to making your orthodontic treatment a rewarding and positive experience.
My name is Carolyn. I have worked in the Orthodontic profession since 1977. I took off about 14 years when I had my children but have worked for Dr. Lockard since 2000. I have worked as an assistant, records technician and am now the financial coordinator. I have been married over 25 years and have 2 grown children and 1 beautiful granddaughter. When not at work, I am active at my church. My husband and I also enjoy traveling, especially going on cruises!
My name is Kimberley and I have been working for Dr. Lockard as a receptionist for five years. I have worked in the medical field for many years. Now that I am in the orthodontic profession, I especially enjoy watching beautiful smiles develop. I have been married for more than 10 years and have three wonderful children. When I am not at the office, I spend my time at the ball park and playing with my children.
Hi! My name is Kendra and I have worked for Dr. Lockard as a chairside assistant since May of 2007. I attended Oklahoma Health Academy's Dental Assistant program and graduated first in my class. I grew up in Sand Springs, graduated from Charles Page High School and have lived in Broken Arrow for about four years. I am married and have 2 children, Kelsie and Zakary. In my time away from work I enjoy playing video games with my husband and daughter, going to church, and spending time with family and friends.
Hi, I am Lauryn. I was a patient of Dr. Lockard's in 1998. I fell in love with the office and just wanted to be a part of the family, so I started working in August 2006.I have a wonderful family and three amazing younger brothers who mean the world to me. I love photography and many sports, but mostly baseball. Go Cardinals!
Hi, my name is Mary and I have worked for Dr. Lockard as an orthodontic assistant since early 2011. I have lived in Broken Arrow most of my life. I enjoy quilting, cross stitching, and crafting in my spare time. I also have a love for animals and currently have two Great Danes, two cats and some aquariums with fish and turtles.
