Dr. John Eric Lomax, MD

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Lomax and his staff. He has a fantastic bedside manner. He shares a perfect balance of medical information to explain a procedure, with the use of humor and assurance that brings perspective to a situation. He really puts you at ease and spends enough time to answer ALL of your questions thoroughly. He follows up after a procedure not once, but twice, and provides access to him if questions or concerns arise. The nursing staff that works with Dr. Lomax are exceptional. They are always warm, pleasant and professional. They take care of all the insurance work for you which is a real blessing if you have ever had to deal with insurance companies!! I have had more than one procedure done with Dr. Lomax and I they have both been very successful. I have high confidence in his ability, and if I need surgery again, I will not hesitate to seek him out. I have also been seen in several Soderstrom clinic’s (Peoria, Morton and Bloomington). Staff in each… facility is excellent.

Incredibly concerned about the care my grandmother received at the hand of this surgeon.

Would recommend him to anyone. Just had Panniculectomy done Friday . He came to see me Sat and Sunday released me for home. He listen to me..Very important to a patient. Will be going for procedures due to weight gastric sleeve surgery.

Dr Lomax and his staff are awesome. I felt comfortable from start to finish.

I was going for a Breast Augmentation last year with Dr. Lomax. Julie was my nurse. The day of my surgery I was already fully dressed in the back and about to go under when they decided that they wanted me to get some other issues taken care of first. I cannot explain enough how disappointed I was. I've been waiting years to get this done and it took me weeks to snap out of my sadness. I went to a couple other plastic surgeons and they were willing to do whatever I wanted with the same information I gave Dr.Lomax. That's when it hit me. I've read all about Dr. Lomax and met him. He is a very straight forward, kind and amazing at what he does. If he said that I should get these other issues taken care of 1st why didn't any of the other Dr's even request that I do the same? Thats when I decided that I will get my back all fixed up and do all the tests he recommended, then go back to see him. For he obviously put my best interest 1st. I had no idea it would take a whole year to get… everything done!!!! But now I have an appt with him and Julie again and I cannot wait! After having my twins I haven't felt beautiful or comfortable in my skin since. Julie was the one who made me feel amazing about everything to begin with. Her personality is 1 in a million here and I cannot wait to see her again!!!! In fact after meeting so many Dr.s' and nurses I don't care to see anyone else except Julie and Dr. Lomax! I have a lot of faith in them and I really hope they can help change my life so I can feel good about my apperance again! Soderstrom is the only business I recommend to people. Their staff are amazing and they do amazing work. I just wanted to say Thank You Dr Lomax for taking the time to put me first and i am too EXCITED to finally come back to your office.

From start to finish, the entire process was enjoyable! Julie (nurse) spent so much time with me making sure I had the right expectations. I couldn't be happier with the results and would recommend this office and Dr. Lomax to anyone.

I would never recommend Dr. Lomax or anyone from the Soderstrom Skin Institute. I had a very traumatizing experience.

He did not see me after my surgery to see how I was doing, also he did not see me post op! He did a great job on my insisions, but horrible on making them the same size! Money down the drain!

Results are AMAZING from lipo. I will be having more work done by him. Wait times seem to be a bit extreme, as I've had several visits with 30 minutes or more in the front room/waiting area.

I had a breast reduction last July. Now string bikinis are my best friend and I do not wears bras unless the mood strikes me (because I don't have to). Dr. Lomax did a great job. I would go to him again without hesitation for any plastic surgery. Thanks Doc!
