Dr. John William Loudermilk, MD

Surgery for a deviated septum was his only concern, although I went for severe allergies. He dismissed all my concerns and only talked about surgery. Went to my family doc and was told I was having a severe allergy-induced asthma attack and helped me. This guy is a quack.

Horrible doctor. This man has a serious god complex. He is incredibly unprofessional, condescending and rude. He was obviously only interested in making a buck and did not really care to have a dialogue or conversation with us. After taking about five mins to review my son's chart, asking a few questions, and examine my son's ears and nose with an otoscope he decided a surgical procedure was necessary. During that time he thought he should let me know that he disagreed with my son's allergist in terms of the Meds being prescribed. Remember this doc is an ENT and had not reviewed the blood tests nor records from the allergists exams. He even told me I should not discuss the procedure with my son. Well it is my right as a father to discuss a medical procedure with my son and he should not have over stepped those bounds. I could go on with more examples of my nightmarish experience with him but I will not waste any more time. I sincerely hope that any potential patients reconsider making… an appt to see him. I would not want you to be subjected to his unprofessionalism. To put it simply, find another doctor.

Had problems with my sinus' and went to Dr. Loudermilk. He said I had a deviated septum and scheduled surgery. Went in and while waiting to go in I overhead him remarking to the family member of someone just out of surgery, that the man's surgery was a piece of cake compared to the one he had coming up. Then he turns around and sees me sitting there and looked embarrassed. I nearly got up and left. I should have. When I went to get prepped, the nurse stuck me with the IV drip on the back of my hands so many times, they looked like a black and blue swollen mess and it hurt! She finally had to go get the surgical nurse. Then when I was in recovery, my husband told me he was very angry because the nurse was trying to hurry me out of the door. All I can remember was her pushing me to eat jello. I couldn't even remember how I got home. Then to top it all off, Dr. Loudermilk told me I didn't need to come in to have the cotton rolls stuffed up my nose pulled out. He said it was easy to do… myself and it didn't hurt. Well, not only did it hurt, but blood gushed out of my nostrils and I was so faint I had to lay on the floor bleeding while my husband just stood there and turned white. Never again!

I had sinus problems for years and I actually went to see Dr. Loudermilk for my tonils. During the consult for my tonils, he noticed that I was having sinus issues and could not see inside of my nose. He asked me if I had been having issues. I told him that I had suffered from sinus issues for years. He orderd tests of my sinuses and realized that they were completely blocked. In addition to removing my tonsils, he also made some incisions that allowed me to breathe without a variety of OTC medicines (and allowed them to drain). I couldn't believe that this is something that could've been corrected years ago. I thank him so much for his time and help. His procedure even helped reduce my headaches. He is a great doctor and he has a very caring staff (clinical and surgical). He gave me my life back!

I was very impressed with Dr. Loudermilk. He is very direct and I like that. He encouraged me to tell him what I am experiencing to help him consider his diagnosis of my problem. The office staff is wonderful; made me feel very comfortable.

He was courteous and put me at ease

This doctor spent less than three minutes in the room with me and walked out as I was trying to ask him a question.
