Dr. Louis is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, should you find yourself in a dental emergency.
FINANCE
The fees in our office reflect the time, expense and expertise that go into customizing the treatment plan and performing the necessary treatment for you. We will do our best to accommodate your financial situation to make treatment accessible to you. For your convenience we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discovers card and American Express, as well as cash or checks. Financing is also available. 
We operate on a fee for service basis and do not presently accept assignment on insurance plans. We will make every effort to see that you receive maximum reimbursement benefits from your insurance company, but payment will be expected at the time of service unless arrangements are made in advance.
FOR YOUR PROTECTION
We are committed to providing you the most sterile environment possible - that is why our office meets or exceeds O.S.H.A. and C.D.C. guidelines for sterilization using …state-of-the-art dental and sterilization equipment.
INITIAL VISIT
During your first appointment, you will get acquainted with the office and staff so that you will feel comfortable during your successive visits to our office. We will then review your medical and dental histories and perform a comprehensive dental exam using state-of-the-art dental equipment. With the information that is obtained from this visit, we will work closely with your dentist to customize a treatment plan that is most appropriate for you. We will work closely with you and will keep you fully informed of how you are proceeding throughout the course of your treatment.

Our office staff functions as a team. We are very proud of the training, skill and ability of our staff. While each member of our team has individual responsibilities, we are always ready to do whatever might be necessary to help you.
John V. Louis, D.M.D., opened his practice in Easton in 1995 following graduation from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1994. As the first full-time periodontist (specialist in diseases and cosmetic surgery of the gums) in the Easton area, Dr. Louis has helped to fill a void in local dental health care.
He began his undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University in 1984 and completed his studies with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1988, after which he pursued graduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.
He graduated with the degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine in 1992 and commenced intensive specialty training in the field of Periodontics. He completed his studies in 1994 with certification in Periodontics.
Since his arrival in Easton, Dr. Louis has established a state-of-the-art facility to service the needs of patients needing gum surgery and dental implants at 218 Bay Street, Easton, Maryland.
Dr. Louis is an active member of many dental associations which include the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Periodontology, the Maryland State Dental Association and the Eastern Shore Dental Society.
Dr. Louis has lectured nationally and internationally on the subjects of Periodontics and dental Implants. He also has co-authored an article on Periodontal Plastic Surgery.
