Dr. John D Loyd, MD

Dr. Loyd was so kind and I could tell he always did what would be in our best interest. He answered all of our questions and truly did an excellent job getting our baby back to health!

He is probably nice, and he took good care of my baby, but he often seemed so condescending. I respect him as a doctor but I'm not sure he has the right attitude.

Dr. Loyd was there at the delivery of my twins at 28 weeks and took a personal interest in them from the very beginning. He always made time to come see me when I was in the NICU, whether he had already seen the babies or not. He was very kind, reassuring, and patient with all my questions. Every time he was in the unit, I saw him playing with the babies who were old enough for this to be appropriate. I even saw him get down and crawl around on the floor to encourage an older baby to do tummy time. He kept my babies alive when they couldn't do it themselves, and kept me sane through the hardest thing I've ever gone through. I can't speak highly enough of him.
