Dr. John Berry Luster

Came across a prescription from Dr. Luster that I kept, it was for hope during a difficult time! I held on to that. Remember him as a kind and caring physician.

Called Dr. Luster's office to attempt to schedule a new patient appt. I wanted to confirm if they take my insurance and the receptionist responded that they did not. I mentioned that i checked online and he comes up as a in network provider, she curtly said they listed him incorrectly. Curiously i asked what major ins. did the Dr accept, she proceeded to answer me as if i annoyed her with my question, and then dared list the insurance i mentioned. When i asked for clarification, she put me on hold. I am assuming her manager then took my call, and she took my call as if i wasnt placed on hold. When i mentioned i was placed on hold, she replied with "okay, so how can i help you?" I proceeded to explain what my conversation with the initial receptionist was and she tried to explain what she "meant." I then asked if she could verify my ins. She said no, i had to first come in as patient for an appt. Wait...what? Now this conversation was very discouraging as i manage a medical office as… well, and let me tell you, this kind of service is unacceptable in my office. I would never allow my staff to speak to patients or prospective patients in the manner my call was handled. Very unprofessional, they very much lacked customer service. Sorry Mr. Luster, though you may or may not be a great Dr. thanks to the face of your office, i now will never know.

I’ve been his patient since 1998 he is the best Doctor and I’ll never change!!!!

Dr Luster is the BEST!!!I feel heard, cared for, and his diagnosing and referrals are always accurate. I can't say enough about this man. He is a Number 10!

Dr. Luster is nice and I feel he takes his time. His personnel in his office is rude. The office manager is very rude and could care less. No people skill what so ever. She is not willing to take responsibility for mistakes or misplace records. Also the wait is way to long, have waited an hour in the waiting room and an 1 1/2 in the room itself. I will never go back.

Dr. Luster has been my primary care for over 20 years and has done an exceptional job of overseeing my health care through several serious illnesses. His caring and thoroughness is second to none. I have referred countless people to him over the years and they all absolutely love him. I wouldn't think of entrusting my health to another primary care physician as long as Dr. Luster is practicing. His nurse practitioner is also great!
