Dr. John Bradley Madden, MD

I really like Dr Madden and think he's a good doctor, though promptness could be better sometimes. Hearing him chit chat outside my door for 10 minutes when I've already been waiting over an hour doesn't help. However, his nurse, Krystal Coward is a very different story. They come out and say that they are doing you a favor in filling out insurance forms. No, they are my PCP and are required to fill out forms for my medications. If I call them nothing gets done, ever. If I use the portal they do the bare minimum and don't communicate if they need something else. At the beginning of 2024 I missed my diabetes medicine for 3 months because of this incompetence. Now, a form I requested they send a month ago has not been sent, with ZERO communication that I sent the wrong form. I only found out because last week I requested a copy of what Krystal sent to my insurer and discovered it was a letter, not the insuance form at all. This is unacceptable and negligent.

If I could give zero stars I would. The staff and especially boy Dr. Perkins and Dr. Madden were awful. I just moved you Jackson and they treated me like a common criminal. They also swore to me they would give me referrals I needed especially for an orthopedic. I've had 3 elbow surgeries and my doctor in Saint Louis said I'd need 1-2 more. It's been impossible here. I've had paid a ton in taxes my whole life. I've not been able to work since these surgeries. They showed no compassion whatsoever. I had to use ACA when I moved here. I've been use to top level services but they treated me like crap due to the ACA insurance. Made several comments about it. I didn't answer to fellow doctor friends and others in medical field about this office. I called and cancelled my attending that doctor anymore then they sent me a letter saying that dropped me. Who does that??? So now that's in my records when it was I who called last week as I have found a wonderful PCP. THEY SWORE TO GIVE ME… REFERRALS FOLLOWING DAY but nope. Never got those. People, you have a right to your healthcare. They work for you not other way around. You can fire your doctor. I did. BUYER BEWARE!! Dr. Perkins and Dr. Madden are HORRIBLE.
