Not only did Dr. John Mamalakus reach out to me the day prior to my procedure, he personally walked me through the anesthesiology the day of the procedure and gave me his personal cell phone to assure me if I had questions or concerns at any time to reach out to him. He is by far the most professional Anesthesiologist I have ever met, and even more importantly I have had the fastest recovery of any procedure I’ve ever had. Because of his thorough pre-operative assessment, he was able to sedate me without being incubated, facilitating my recovery. The combination of medications he used allowed me to wake up following the procedure without any nausea or other complications. I would highly recommend him, and will seek out his care in the future in the unlikely event I need additional treatment. Thank you for exceeding my expectations!

highly attentive and caring with a great sense of humor

Dr. Mamalakis was the anesthesiologist for my surgery. He talked to me before the procedure, listened to my concerns about specific side effects, and made sure I had the correct meds to counteract those problems, both before and immediately after surgery. He even called to check on me post-op, while he was on vacation. Because of his proactive diligence, I had no post-op nausea, and minimal pain. Great doc!
