Dr. Mandrola diagnosed Afib with me back in the summer of 2019. While the treatment that we both decided on, the ablation went very well, what I respect the most about him is his attention to detail and his desire to meet my needs. I recently had a consultation with Dr. Mandrola which last over 30 minutes. In that consultation he made some other decisions about my heart health which will require surgery. I've expected this surgery for years. Dr Mandrola is obessed with his craft and I highly admire that. I am expecting to be a healthier more functional person after this upcoming surgery. Dr. Madrola and Dr. Dillon, you guys are amazing!!!

I highly recommend Dr Mandrola. For the last 10 years I had periodic occurrences of AFIB but I had no noticeable side effects. I did not notice when it occurred but it showed up on scheduled scans of my pacemaker. Then earlier last year I started to physically notice when it was occurring. I started to struggle with Atrial Fibrillation. (Later found out that it had been occurring constantly for 8 months.) Breaking out in a sweat at the least bit of exertion: Energy level continued to decrease; labored breathing walking up slight inclines. Dr Mandrola suggested and then tried two lesser invasive procedures (cardioversion and medication) before performing an ablation. Those procedures were unsuccessful. 1 week after the ablation I started noticing remarkable improvement. Three months after the operation my pacemaker showed a tape of 100% AFIB for the 8 months prior to the operation then showed ZERO episodes of AFIB in the three months following the Ablation. I continue to feel great… and am very thankful to Dr Mandrola for returning my life to normal.

I was referred to this specialist by my primary care physcian after having been hospitalized for Atrial Fribrialation. I saw him once and he was rude from the start during the short shrifted visit. He order several tests including a month long event monitor. That was 5 months ago and i never heard anything. He has cancelled my next appointment three times. I hate to think what would happen if I had a serious episode. He just may be too busy to be an effective physcian. I know one thing, if I had a new customer, I certainly wouldn't cancel the 2nd meeting 3 times each one for another month! After the first cancellation, I'd make sure they got in the office within a week. I am due to go next week and am taking bets on whether it will also be rescheduled. I know one thing, I expect that he will be prepared with my results and a full treatment plan after 5 months wait! I don't care about the other 1000 patients, I want to have the excellent care I have been promised and charged for. If I… wanted third world treatment, I could have enjohyed a two week vacation in Mexico for a lot less than the cost of the testing he's already had done.

Dr. Mandrola diagnosed my problem and did not install a pacemaker as the cariologist at U of L Hospital wanted to. My problem could not be corrected with a pacemaker.
