Dr. John Steven Mastroni, MD

My son was hit in the eye by a racquetball. He lost his vision for several days, and his visit to the local ER provided no relief from the pain. When he was finally put in touch with Dr. Mastroni, the Dr. prescribed drops and tablets that relieved the pain. He had a 2nd bleed in the eye a week after the accident. Now, 12 days after the injury, my son has no pain, his vision is 20/60, and Dr, Mastroni expects it to be 20/30 in two weeks. I should add that my son just finished his 12th year active duty, in the USCG and his vision is critical to his service.

I was told I have glaucoma but after several visits was basically dismissed when I didn't know the name of the eye drops he was giving me. I went to another specialist and after extensive testing was told I don't have glaucoma and my optic nerve is healthy. Incompetent.

Dr.John Mastroni is a wonderful and caring Dr. I would highly recommend him

Dr. Mastroni nailed my eyeglass prescription after I had some issues with near vision with a fairly recent prescription.
