Dr. John Andrew Mccleerey, MD

Dr McCleerey was certainly lacking in bedside manner. His suspicion of specialists was a concern, which exploded when he refused to write a referral my insurance required to see my neurologist of ten years. Their office repeatedly called McCleerey and his staff, and I was told his staff were "rude," and when they got him on the phone himself, he was "rude and very mean." This was unprofessional and unacceptable, as well as quite embarrassing. I am very happy with my new PCP!

I have been going to Dr. McCleerey for at least 14 or 15 years, I have never had to wait any time at all. He is concerned about my health and makes mr feel like he is. I hope he doesn't retire any time soon. I used to hate going to see doctrors, but with him I know he will search out whatever complaint I have.

Always able to get in same day either with him him or his NP. Staff is amazing and has started doing video and televisits. He runs on time and I NEVER have to wait in the waiting room. He in no nonsense and great humor when needed and cares about my health. He sees about half of all my family

Dr. McCleerley was my doctor for 8 years but I changed because of one member of his staff (I heard it was his son). I had serious issues (urinating blood) one time and called to get an emergency appointment and I felt I needed to see Dr. McCleerey himself instead of his nurse practitioner. The staff member said it would be 3 months before I could see him. I immediately called another doctor and saw him the same day. I never had a problem with Dr. McCleerey in fact he is excellent but I wrote this review because I like a doctor that is available to his/her patients, especially those that do not make multiple visits for nothing. I am the type that goes to a doctor when I'm hurt or sick, no more that 2 times a year and most times 1 time for a check up. So, Dr. McCleerey is an excellent practitioner but he has forgotten his loyal patients and some people, like me, may not feel this is the best doctor for that reason.

Have yet to be in and out in less than an hour. Most times it is closer to two hours.

McCleery accommodates his patients by walk-ins and the wait time is VERY minimal. He takes time to listen to problems to find a first time solution. I highly recommend Dr. McCleery to anyone seeking a new general practitioner.

Getting an appointment is always a breeze. His office staff are the best. They are super friendly and helpful. There is almost no waiting time and Dr. McCleerey takes his time and listens.
