I received Excellent care by Dr. McCormick. I was a difficult patient who was too busy to deal with my hypertension, and he had the patience to educate me. He discussed the negative side effects of Clonidine patches and why I should go back on pills. The patch just seemed so convenient. I could slap it on and forget about it. Dr. M. was also very funny. Great sense of humor. The following week I traveled over Christmas break, and my patch fell off. I went into hypertensive crisis, but I wasn’t scared because Dr. McCormick told me this would happen if the patch fell off. He explained thoroughly how my central nervous system would react. So I went home and listened to him. I’m on four blood pressure meds now and I check my pressure twice a day. My hypertension is now controlled! He is very knowledgeable in the area of cardiology/hypertension and explains things well without being condescending. Thank you Dr. McCormick!

Had a new patient visit with Dr. McCormick today. I selected him based on all of his outstanding reviews and I absolutely concur! Dr. McCormick was incredibly personable and made me feel very comfortable. At first, I didn't quite now what to expect as I have never seen a doctor who specializes in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. While I saw Dr. McCormick as an Internal Medicine patient, I would not hesitate to take my kids to Dr. McCormick, too! In one day, I was able to get my blood work drawn as well as x-rays taken. I look forward to seeing him again in a year!

In the first visit, he was kind. I thought it would go well to have my doctors at one place. The second visit? It was like Dr Jekyll and mr Hide, he didn’t at all and went with his ego instead of actually listening to me. IF he had actually listened, he would have realized months ago that my condition has gotten worse. He did not, and I ended up in the hospital multiple times.

Very happy with Dr McCormick, his staff and the USF facility. I had not seen any primary care doctor for several years and wanted to get established with someone, close to home & Internal Medicine - I was extremely happy and going back this year too!
