John Mcdonald, Doctor, of, Osteopathy, DO

Abusive.

Dr. McDonald should not be allowed to practice medicine. He just met me today, spent 5 minutes talking to me, and proceeded to tell me I was crazy and that I needed to go to a mental health clinic. I asked him how he can help me wean off of Paxil, as it causes bad side effects, and he told me that I could not wean off of it, that I will have to stay on it the rest of my life. He then left the room and did not return. His PA was also there, she was evidently shocked by the way he spoke to me and the things he said to me. I will be filing a complaint with the Ethics Committee.

Dr. John is an extremely great doctor. He is exceptionally knowledgeable, patient, caring and understanding. He is an asset to the medical community and his patients. His activism for the medical field and patient rights is beyond commendable.

Both my wife and I have not had good experience with this doctor. I found him condesending and arrogant. I had four visits before I gave up and moved on to another physician.
