He is very unprofessional, rude, unkind and even insulting. I cannot believe that this person could still be in business, the way he treats people. Stay away--go to one of the many good dentists in this area.

This office wont take patients from the coast,Eureka. When asked why ,the receptionist replied"My boss doesnt take patients from the coast because they might break down in their cars travelling" What about people who dont drive at all? Is this not Slanted,Bias and prejudiced?

What a change from the rude atmosphere of other dentist in our area. Down to earth, cares and tries to help as much as he can. I appreciate the service. The change is quite refreshing.the mood was upbeat and clean, clean office. Front desk receptionist was so very sweet and very intelligent. Thanks for the warm and inviting visit.. A+ Dr Mcgaughey

He's my kind of dentist: down to earth, old school with none of the unnecessary tech accessories and an interesting character to boot.

Dr McGauhey is the one to call if you have an emergency and he is in the area, he will help you.

I am writing this review to warn others.... I went to Dr. McGaughey yesterday and had a very bad experience. Before he called me in he looked so "lost" and unorganized. He shined the light right in my eyes, and told me I had to move it. I asked him how his morning was, and he grumbled an answer back at me. I have a broken abscessed tooth and must be pulled. (My nerve in my check is swollen!) He numbed me and was going to pull it, he said I was going to have a lot of pain. When I asked him why he was treating like he didn't want me there; he told me to leave, and I am very glad that I did. I then went to the dentist in McCloud and he prescribed me antibiotics and will pull my tooth in a week. I knew a lady that died from this exact action from a dentist. I will also be reporting him to the ADA to protect other patients. "GETTING OUT TO THAT CHAIR MAY HAVE SAVED MY LIFE". His receptionist is great!!!

By far the best dentist I've been to!
