Dr. John Robert Mcgill, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. McGill's for over ten years, seeing him about once a year for facial "fillers". He is pleasant and supportive, and the results from his treatments have always been outstanding. I recommend him highly.

This guy is truly awesome. He did a great job removing skin cancer lesion from my forehead. I was warned by dermatologist it was going to be a signficant scar, but after Dr. McGill's surgery it is barely visible. Then I had him do trigger finger surgery. Fingers on left hand had been locking up for three years. It didn't clear up with 1st surgery so he had to go back in 2x more with in-office procedure, which he did at no additional charge (I did pay cash for the first surgery, but still, many doctors would have billed again). He didn't seem concerned or blame me when the trigger finger didn't clear up at first, just told me, 'we'll get this thing licked.' And my hand is working great now. Nice to be able to hold things in your left hand without it locking up, which I couldn't do for three years prior to the surgery. Far as i can tell, Dr. McGill is one of the only Drs in Bangor who makes his own decisions and hasn't been incorporated into some healthcare conglomerate.
