I had trigeminal neuralgia, taking numerous meds to calm the nerve, and constantly suffering 'attacks', or falling asleep due to the meds. Dr. McGregor fixed it. I went from unable to eat or drink anything hot or cold, chew, bite, and sometimes could not even talk without triggering an episode. I ate chipped ice in the recovery room,. He literally gave me my life back.

He is so kind and treats you like a human being and explains very complicated things very well and makes it to where you can understand. His staff is just as amazing. His surgical skill is amazing as well very few complications

Dr. McGregor is excellent, personable neurosurgeon. Besides his 25 years experience in neurosurgery, he is an excellent communicator and friend. He communicates as a friend, not a neurosurgeon. He talks to you as a knowledgeable friend, rather than a teacher. You feel comfortable with his knowledge & experience Post surgery he personally returns patients' phone calls. He and Susan, his nurse, treat you like your his only patient. After many surgeries over the past 69 years, I was apprehensive over the brain surgery. I was reassured by his having performed the Microvascular Decompression Procedure for the past 25 years.

This man has saved my life repeatedly with my battle against Arnold Chiari Malformation. He's a special kind of person and takes time with you as a person and patient . I owe him my life multiple times .

My first experience with Dr. McGregor in his office was not a positive one, I think due to the complexity of my conditions.My next experience with him resulted in surgery. I have to say he is an awesome surgeon. I have very high regards for Dr. McGregor and his Nurse Practioner. The only down fall is that when the symptoms of these complex medical issues continue or worsen, they are unsure of where to go with it, a problem that is not necessarily a fault of theirs. But as a patient, where do we go from here?
