Dr. John Cooper Mckee

Office manager is a ride person, the over charge me for the copay when I questioned it, she got rude and hostile as if i made it all up and when I got on my insurance web site to show her what my copay was supposed to be, she stated " I'll reduce it for you this time" thanks for the favor. But no thanks admit you're wrongly over charged me.

My 4 year old has been snoring since birth. SINCE BIRTH! And no one considered this a problem, even though he was experiencing apnea and has NEVER slept through the night. Dr Mckee was patient, he listened, made his recommendation, and not even 3 days later, I am very satisfied with his services. I am a RN and did not know this doctor before I entrusted my son's care to him. But he did everything that a patient should ever hope for when seeing a physician. Doctors are not magicians and every ailment cannot be resolved. This one tries to conquer the issue within his scope of practice.

Excellent physician. My daughter has had health issues her entire life. She was started on the sublingual allergy medication and doesn't even carry an asthma inhaler any more. I would recommend him to anyone.

I was referred to Dr. McKee by my primary care physician after I discovered a lump in my neck. Dr. McKee did not seem interested in the lump although he did order abx. He came across as uncaring.He spent more time trying to remove wax from my ear! He was quite rough and offerred no prior explanation to prepare me for what he was going to do. I like explanations so that I can prepare before a procedure no matter how small it is. I asked him what connection there was between wax in my ear and a lump in my neck and he said "nothing."I made a follow up appt but decided to cancel after realizing that this is not the doctor that I want or need. Doubtless there are other doctors out there who are more considerate.

My consultations were also insuffienciently brief and terse. I noticed that with mothers and children he takes plenty of time answering questions and seems very caring. Pediatrics is obviously what he would choose to do full time.

After spending 5 minutes with Dr. McKee he scheduled another visit - which meant another 60.00 to walk in the door for a procedure that took 10 minutes. I am not sure why he couldn't have done the procedure the first visit. Then blood work, and a CT scan and no answers. Spent over 1000.00 without an answer to my very real issue. Person that called to tell me that all tests were normal said I could schedule another visit to discuss the lack of reason for my nose bleeds. REALLY ....

Went to Dr McKee with ultra sound results and recommendation from gland specialist to remove right thyroid. Growing node under right thyroid pushing into my throat . Dr McKee told me my thyroid was fine and I had acid reflux. Went to a qualified doctor/surgeon had thyroid removed with 1.8cm node which was bigger than x-ray indicated. Now I can swallow normally again. Would highly not recommend Dr. McKee to anyone.

I took my granddaughter to Dr. McKee, suffering extreme allergic reaction to practically every plant that grows in Texas. His diagonosis was accurate and the sublingual medication very successful. After two years away from me, she returned with allergies worsened. He not only treated her intelligently, but recognized a medication that might have life threatening consequences that she was taking daily that had been prescribed by someone else dealing with a chronic condition. In every way, his staff was pleasant and efficient. He quickly assesses a situation, and some people might find they need more "chat" time with a doctor. What I need is accuracy, efficiency and results. That is what I always get with Dr. McKee.

for a LONG wait and a short consulation if you are an adult patient. Pediatic appointments, even unscheduled, do not wait and are pushed ahead of the cue even if they are not emergency cases. NOTE THE SIGN OUT FRONT: Children and Adult Patients. That tells the story. Indepth, friendly consultation for pediatics. Quicky consultations for adults. Otherwise a decent doctor and office staff. It is just an unusual approach. I felt like a second class patient and did not like very long the wait for such brief appointments, especially when he requires us to be on time and sign-in for his convenience.
