Dr. John Allen Meadows, MD

My daughter is almost 2 years old. Her pediatrician referred us to Dr. Meadows to get allergy tested. She has severe Eczema, and we also think she has a dairy allergy or another allergy. So we get to the appointment and wait. For 90 minutes. Just for Dr. Meadows to walk in, look at her for less than a minute, and say "she has eczema. she doesn't need to be allergy tested." Umm. Excuse me?? We know she has Eczema. She is on medication for it, and a cream. She was referred here to specifically get the testing done, so your opinion does not matter. He said you can put her in a bubble and her skin will still look like that. Ok? But you can also pour milk on her and she will immediately turn red and start itching?? So his response was just that it was a reaction that flared up the Eczema. Needless to say my Pediatrician is furious and has referred us to someone else. 90% of my daughters skin is broken out and all she does is scream and itch. Clearly something else is going on. You refusing… to test her like my Dr's referral stated is so unacceptable. I would not use this Doctor at all. All you are going to do is waste your time and money. His staff is very rude and does not care at all about your problems, or your child's apparently. If you want better service try Dr. Lee.

Arrogance. He emphasized that he did not want to use "big" words. I guess he didn't want to confuse us ignoramus people. Then told us appts were scheduled to "keep you in you own class of people". He meant, not HIS class. Retired AF - well educated - not amused.
