This doctor is special...i recently had a procedure ( hydocoelectomy) done by Dr. Mekras...if you need urological care in Miami from initial office visit to procedure to follow up care.....his medical expertise and enviable bedside manner is a rare find in Miami....I highly recommend Dr.Mekras

I have the honor of having Dr Mekras as my urologist . I am an 89 year old male and as such have visited many Doctors of varying professions. I rate Dr Mekras as the overall best practitioner I have ever encountered and strongly recommend him. He certainly is one of a kind for his sincerely caring, compassionate manner and knowledge. He takes his time with his patients, and checks progress after treatment. His Staff makes you feel like you are visiting family. I rate Dr. Mekras at 5+ stars.

I tried seeing Dr. Mekras twice. Both times, I made an appointment, arrived at the office on time/early, was sent to wait after providing a urine sample, then gradually figured out the Dr. wasn't even in the building at the time the appointments were scheduled for, and, the office staff had no way of knowing when or if he'd be back. I didn't have all day to wait, and this didn't feel like a very respectful way to treat customers, so I left.

Dr Mekras has incredible bedside manners, he is caring, compassionate, takes his time with his patience, truly concern. He checks on his patients after treatment. Staff makes you feel like you are visiting family.
