Dr. John Michael Morgan

Arrived at the Emergency Room Baptist Hospital approximately 10:00 pm.Was notified my father-in-law needed an Angiogram. Took us to the waiting room and said the Dr will update us as far as his status. We waited and waited until we called the hospital operator at approximately 1:00 am and was told he was in the ICU on a different floor. The doctor never came to speak with us.

He is well versed and will take the time to ensure he delivers quality care. His staff is extraordinary

Dr. Morgan was my father's absolute favorite doctor. My father was a retired obstetrician/gynecologist whom was beloved in the small Kansas community where he practiced. My father had experienced cardiac problems for a number of years. He had been seen by doctors in Texas, Minnesota, Florida, and Illinois. Dr. Morgan was able to resolve his issues when no one else could. I have been to him as well. I found him to be professional and very knowledgeable. One might think him a little curt if they wander afield when explaining their symptons. I highly recommend him. His nurse, Pat, also says he is one of the smartest doctors she has ever met.

This is how my appointment went down, this was my very first time to a cardio doctor and I am only in my 30's. I got there and was taken back and seen by two assistants. One took an EKG and Blood Pressure. The second assistant took my history and listened to my chest. By the time the Doctor came in he stood far against the wall flipped threw the notes the second assistant took and started to ramble about meds all while the assistant took notes on a computer. The assistant made recomendations here and there. Dr Morgan totally talked over me, when I tried to explain my concerns he just started to ramble in medical terms again. He was in and out in under 10 minutes. He never took time to get to know me or what I was concerned with. I left with 3 prescriptions, one of which I have no idea how to use. He talked so fast and not really to me but to the assistant. I will be finding a new doctor ASAP.

Found him after a heart attack and only necessary was done by other doctors. Dr Morgan went the full route and my heart is leaning towards healthy.
