Dr. John Allen Middleton, MD

I have seen Dr. Middleton and Lilly Pimphan n.p. for many years. I would suggest anyone looking for a good psychiatrist to try them. Always nice, friendly, caring, and clean office.

I like that he takes the time necessary for me to get my questions answered and review my case. He doesn't kick me out after his allotted time. I sometimes have to wait ( not more than 20 minutes), but I know he is working with someone else as he always did with me. His Nurse Practitioner, Lily, works the same way.

Wants to do experimental treatments with some magnetic machine insurance won't cover and when I denied they wouldn't see me for 6 minute months

I have been dealing with depressive illness for many years, and I have seen my share of psychiatrists. I have never gone online to report on my experience with a physician before, but after reading the comments on this site about Dr. Middleton, I feel compelled to report on my experiences with this provider. First and foremost, I need to say that I was shocked to read that there are people who might believe that Dr. Middleton only cares about the almighty dollar.Enough said about that! I have been seeing Dr. Middleton and Lily for 7+ years and have been treated with the utmost respect and kindness. These are two of the most caring health care providers I have ever been a patient of. When and if I have had to wait more than a few minutes past my appointment time to see one of them, I remind myself that I have never been rushed out of the office because my fifteen minutes were up. I trust that I have been diagnosed and treated by two of the brightest and best!

Dr Middleton always takes the time I need to work with him. He makes sure I am an important part of my meds management. He has gone above and beyond to keep me safe. I first met him at a hospital in Fresno and liked him so much I tracked him down so I could continue to go to him. Lily is wonderful, too.

Dr. Middleton saved my life. I have Bipolar 1, ADHD and Anxiety and he hung in with me, never giving up on finding the right medications for me to live a productive, happy life. He listens to me and never kicks me out of his office when he's finished because he knows he's not finished until I am. I'm willing to wait if he's running late because I know he's doing the same for others. His NP, Lily is the same.

Fantastic place, always been treated perfectly

Worst place in the world to go if you need help. THESE PEOPLE ONLY CARE ABOUT THE ALMIGHTY $$$$. Rude office help. Wait is extremely long. My husband was in dire need of help and all these people cared about was getting their co-pay. He asked if he had a gun outside and was ready to blow his head off, would they see him and all the girl said is she needed his co-pay. He went by himself and didn't have money or a check book and they refused to see him. What a joke for a place that is supposed to care about mental health.
