Dr. John Robert Miklos, MD

Dr Miklos is an exceptional surgeon. His staff is wonderful. It is a very professional office. I could not be more pleased.

After years of progressive urine leakage, this surgery was perfect. No more pads, and less distraction. The staff was excellent, they gave me the minimal anesthesia as I requested and the Dr, Miklos was not only skilled but very detailed in his accurate descriptions. I feel like a new person! Great choice of a doctor. He knows his stuff.

Traveled across country for surgery and Miklos office staff poorly organized, addresses wrong, phone numbers wrong. His office is about 30-60 minutes from hospital depending on traffic which makes me think he isn’t “world class” as his office has no concept that someone flying out of area has no car or knowledge of the area. After 8 1/2 hr travel time her and paying for hotel, dog kenneling etc, I was told my surgery was cancelled because I couldn’t get to the hospital the day before surgery because I wasn’t given advanced notice to be there but rather was told last minute. Already in my gown and hospital, already met anesthesiologist, the nurse came to do a covid tests. She kept telltale no how horrible the test would be. She then stuck a swab up my nostril so far up I couldn’t tolerate it and she just kept going with it. She pulled it out and said she was going to have to go get another swab because it was now contaminated?? The said this is b_llsh_t!! Next come in another nurse and… said that I “cursed” at the nurse. I said sorry, that I didn’t cuss at her, and that it was super painful. After all, they don’t perform surgery without anesthesia for a reason. She said Dr Miklos was coming to talk to me. He never showed up but cancelled my appointment and had the nurse tell me this and that he would be returning my money. Absolutely, NO CLASS! Stunning

Before Dr. Miklos I wasn't able to live a normal life, every doctor I went to told me I was fine. when in fact I was not, I could not sit on a chair without uterine pain, I was in constant cramping and I could not stand for more than five minutes at a time without feeling like something was falling down and nothing but pressure having to walk a certain way. For two months I was in constant pain and cramping, every doctor said I was ok, when I knew I was not. I am only 18 years old and I had a uterine prolapse, Dr. Miklos saved me from having to suffer for years like most women. Him and his team are nothing but nice and understanding. They have answered my post surgery questions immediately. I would strongly recommend Dr. Miklos to anyone, I am a totally different person due to Dr. Miklos him and his team have changed my life so I can be a normal teenager again. I recovered so quickly and am 100% pain free due to this surgery. Thank you Dr. Miklos and his team.

Best decision to have the surgery performed by Dr. Miklos. I had prolapse, my bladder was out of my body and my vagina was flat. Dr. Miklos has god's touch. He fixed every issue and I left the hospital with a bladder that was back to normal and a beautiful, rejuvenated vagina. His staff was so responsive and went above and beyond to make sure I was ok. My only regret is waiting five long years from my first consultation to finally having surgery. There are many doctors that will offer this procedure, but Dr. M is in a league of his own and he believes in preserving the uterus. To anyone reading this review, don't think twice about trusting him and his incredible level of skill.

Trust in your Dr. is imperative. My trust in Dr. Miklos began before I even spoke or met him. Dr. Miklos’ website is the most informative that I have seen. Before and after pictures, testimonials, and most importantly, videos of the actual operation performed by Dr. Miklos addressed almost all of my questions and concerns. Dr. Miklos’ prioritization of patient education and his transparency demonstrated a higher level patient empathy as well as experience. I traveled from the tri-state area to Atlanta for the operation with the belief that Dr. Miklos was more qualified and more empathetic to all of my concerns than the doctors both male and female that I had met in person locally. My confidence was solidified after finally meeting Dr. Miklos in my pre-operative appointment. His in depth explanation, supported by pictures walking me through the entire operation, fully addressed any residual concerns. His staff- Ashley, Danielle, and Sarah were all very helpful. Danielle, even… drove me to the hotel from the hospital after the operation which I believe was above and beyond. I was there alone, so it was very comforting to have a familiar face drive me after the operation. We went over post operative care again on the way and I was able to ask questions. I did have to leave the hospital with the catheter which was disappointing to me but I think this was my own fault. Right before I knew the catheter was to be taken out, I drank the entire container of water, in hopes that that would help me urinate post catheter. I over filled my bladder. I did it before nurses had a chance to warn me not to over drink. Advise to others- be careful about that. I guess upside is I will not have to use public restrooms in airport? It is the Thursday after My operation and I feel well. I am taking my prescriptions and as of right now, I am barely bleeding. I felt well enough to shower this morning. Not sure of my results. I’m sure I will only know that in the months to come but so far so good.

I know Dr Miklos since 2012 when he gave me back my life taken out the further mesh that was wrong put in by a Dr in South Florida. since I met him and his staff I knew that not other Dr in his speciality will ever do any procedure on me, only him. the years went by and I had the need to have a prolapse being fix. so last May 19,2020 he did the procedures. not only his knowledge and his excellent surgical experience made my experience excellent ; his group of nurses are at his same level. not question is stupid and every call, text that I did and still do after 6 weeks of my surgery is resolved immediately and in a very fast manner. Dr Miklos is the best in his speciality and I will continue coming to him what ever I need him.

Dr. Miklos met with my daughters and I for their labiaplasty surgery consultation. Wow! He was so kind, patient and thorough. One of my daughters was very anxious and he was so patient and understanding with her. The exam portion of the visit was fast and easy, no surprises. Dr. Miklos was very clinical yet personable. I am so thankful to have Dr. Miklos for this procedure.

Had a very rare condition and Dr. Miklos was very thorough at explaining the pros/cons and risks. Went all the way to NYC from Atlanta for consultations for the rare disease but turns out I didn't need to. Would highly recommend going to him. Solid expertise!

I am praising Dr. Miklos, he did a wonderful job. I am so glad that I was brave enough to go through this surgery, I feel so much better and I am so pleased. If you live an active lifestyle, he is the surgeon for you. Don't wait another day to get your life back!!
