Dr moossy is a top notch doctor who takes his time with patients even came to my room at10:00 pm to check on me I had 4 surgeries from him with no issues I would hope he would not retire that’s how good he is and to the point I would recommend him to all the people I know Cindy is a great front office and very nice to talk with

Dr. Moossy is a very accomplished surgeon and has taken care of my sister for years and myself recently for a very complex neck surgery. He is very compassionate and very direct and clear about your diagnosis and what needs to be done to correct your situation. I highly recommend this wonderful physician. If I need neurological surgery, I want him to do it...I trust only him.

I first seen Dr. MOSSY ON NOV. 2 1999, I had hear nested 4 lowest disc into my spinal cord . On st. Patricks day in 2000 I had surgery while removing the disc material from L4-5 he found a hole in my siatic nerve root, so he put bone in to replace disc space and put a H plate and 4 screws in L4-5 and had to stop surgery, After 2 years we decided that a pain pump was needed not forced upon me, I had my pump replaced every 5 years with no problems. I still need more surgery and I wouldn't let any other dr. touch me. He has been the BEST EVER.

Gruff and smug

I saw Dr. Moosey nearly 10 years ago. He was such a great guy that when I was recently faced with the need for a C3-T1 posterior fusion I wanted to get his opinion. I couldn't believe what a waste of time! After he never looked at me once, my parents and I decided to leave. He handed my Father my folder and said hey young fella how about carry this up with you? That's not anything bad, but when I asked if he was still doing surgery he said yes but didn't seem very enthusiastic about doing mine! I asked him about his medically interactive pain clinic. At 52, I have had screws in my neck since I was 30 and things just get worse. He graciously invited me to take part in this clinic. But, that secretary, I think her name is Christian. She sounds simply miserable! She used to be very nice! She refused to allow me to see The doctor! Unless I wanted to discuss a pain pump or some other crap she talked about! What business is it of hers?? She's a freaked secretary! Do your paperwork… and scheduling, leave the diagnosing to Dr. Moosey! I hope he reads these. I am an excellent candidate for his program. He may been able to sell me on the idea of a pump. I know one thing, these money grubbing pain doctors are just practicing assembly line medicine and after 30 years of arthritis and spinal conditions, awaiting release to have a right hip replacement, I would have liked talking to him about his alternatives. But, after two conversations with this women, I would never want to have to deal with her on any kind of regular basis. I cringe when I call that office. Dr. Moosey I will give the benefit of the doubt. Maybe having a bad day.

Dr. Moossy is such a great doctor that removing hardware from a spinal fusion just comes routine to him. However he didn't have the right equipment and did it anyway. Let's just say my life has been destroyed .my follow up was a complete joke. I now live with chronic pain. I think you would expect better from the chief.

Dr Moossy makes one feel at ease, he listens, addressess all issues and does whatever he can to make his patients comfortable. I think he is one of the best doctors inPittsburgh!

Dr. Moossy is an amazing doctor! He was the first doctor that listens to my concerns and treated me with complete respect! He was the first doctor to look deep in my spine and find out what was going on with out just looking at my age and saying I'm to young to have these issues. Would 100% refer people to him!!

Dr Moossy helped me when I thought there was no help possible. I had some complications because of other conditions that he had no control over and he was incredibly patient and kind through all of it. He is a wonderful doctor!
