Dr. John Jay Morley, MD

Love Dr. Morley and staff. He is very personal, caring, understanding person. He will refer you to another Dr. outside his scope of practice. Truly a blessing to Savannah. The waiting time to see him could take longer than other Dr.'s. He does spend whatever time it takes to listen to you. For him to go over all lab results, what the meaning of each.

BEWARE! This office will straight up lie to you stating that they have already called your insurance company and you are pre approved for the visit. Then you get the whopping bill in the mail, because they are not a participating provider. Don't bother to waste your time and emotions. Find an honest Doctor.

Dr Morley is the best doctor I've had. He has helped me so much. I'm very thankful to come across him.

I was mailed paperwork to fill out & bring in to my first appointment. They asked I come early (2pm, appointment is 2:30) to get it all sorted out. I did & waited about 2 hours in the lobby, then another hour in the patient room. I was forewarned by staff that he would require an hour with me. After perusing my charts & some poking/prodding for painful spots he said I had fibromyalgia without a doubt. He then went on to compliment my intelligence, beauty, my curvacious figure & said any good man would appreciate that in a woman. He said the only thing he would change about me was my facial acne. Oh & he asked me my height which is 5'2" He asked me to stand up, spread my legs apart and get on my tip toes. He said I carry myself well and elongate my body--but that I should consider wearing high heels--he tried to say it would be good for me. Then, after more poking, he wanted a full body exam so he could see my skin. He assured me he would have the female office manager in with us. I… dressed down to a hospital gown, back open & undergarments on & he sat behind me, took pulses, poked at me some more and pulled the back of my panties out with his finger--I have no idea as to why. Somewhere in between all of that we talked about my symptoms & other health problems. He seemed very thorough, but very strange. I feel uneasy after that visit. Now, he's discharged me & given me zero meds, asked me to research fibromyalgia, do labwork for my primary care physician & get a wrist x-ray & then come back. Is he expecting my primary doctor to be prescribing my fibro meds? That is absurd to me. He said he is going to be talking to my Primary doctor & Psychiatrist about medications & some of the issues I'm having. Do I go back to this man, or what? My family is telling me he sounds creepy.

This Dr. is in it for the money only. Too many patients and obviously could care less about them. Had a serious issue and his staff would not return my calls.

Dr Morley is very dedicated to EACH of his patients. I might have to wait to see him, but it is worth it in the end. He takes time with ALL his patients, that is how much he cares. he makes sure they have the best care possible while with him!

My experience with Dr. Morley was exceptional. My wait time was less than an hour which is very reasonable. His staff couldn't have been better. Dr. Morley spent time getting to know my history and was very compassionate and caring. He diagnosed me with Fibromyalgia and his plan for treatment has helped immensely. After several weeks I had a question about my medication and I called his office for information. I was astonished when my call back was from Dr. Morley and not a nurse. He spent time with me on the phone explaining what I needed to know. My experience with Dr. Morley and his staff was great and I would refer him to my friends and family.

My experience with this doctor was very poor. I have fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis and psoriatic arthritis. Dr. Morley was not in my initial visit session more than 5 minutes following the PA workup but denied I have psoriatic arthritis, claiming my hands would be deformed if I did. I did enough research to know that deformation happens only after the disease is untreated for a long time. Also he was very abrupt and rude on my next visit where I tried to discuss severe pain at the ends of my fingers and toes, especially under my nailbed. He told me to go "see a nail doctor". As a rheumatologist, I expect him to know about this specific symptom seen often in psoriatic arthritis. He made it clear that he had no interest in discussing my concerns with me.

The wait time is a minimum of 2 hours with Dr. Morley. He went to lunch while 3 patients waited to be seen. That is just wrong! He also refuses to give me all of my records as I want to get a second opinion! That is really wrong!

I waited 3 hours to see Dr. Morley. I am from out of town and was having a serious problem. I was at his office when it opened. There were 4 patients who had appointments. Dr. Morley arrived at his office 1 1/2 hours after his first appointment. I complained to Memorial Hospital where he is on staff and no one seemed to care. I wounder what is wrong with Savannah that he is allowed to continue to abuse his patients. Why don't the local doctors stop him from being this wayA?
