Dr. John Crowley Motta, MD

This man is the most unprofessinal doctor I have ever encountered. He behaves like a 10 year old child and is very sarcastic. He mocked me for telling him his office was freezing and that his nurse who did my ultra-sound was rude. I left and will never go back. My husband was a physician who practiced 50 years and would NEVER TREAT ANYONE IN THIS MANNER

Dr Motta may be a good surgeon but that is all you will get from him and his office. They are very quick to schedule the surgery as they book up very fast. Their aftercare is less than desirable and their ability to communicate with patient and family are less than desirable as well. One and done. Do not expect anyone to call you back in a timely manner, so if you do visit his office and choose him as your doctor get all the facts up front as no one will be able to answer your questions because they are consistently busy. I have yet to speak with the doctor since the day we met him in the office. Extremely disappointed

This Dr. Took care of my sister in Boca Regional. He was the Dr. On call. He did a fistula surgery to prepare her for dialysis. I am her POA as she is a disabled adult. We took her in for a follow up visit and her arm was terribly swollen, and by that time the swelling should have started to go down. He did no testing to see what was going on. I called his office that Monday , didn't get a call back. Called on Tuesday, the receptionist said they never took the messages off from the day before. Anyway he was on vacation at that point. She was rushed to another hospital that week, and another surgeon looked at that arm and didn't like what he saw. It turns out all the veins in the arm that Dr. Motto operated on had collapsed. When I called to speak to him, his office staff or pa told me that he doesn't have to speak to me, that he didn't have the poa papers. If he had looked up the information from Boca Hospital, they had everything. He operated on her with whatever information he had,… but wouldn't talk to me. His office staff is totally rude and not helpful at all. One of his staff said we don't have to talk to you and slammed the phone down! This is a Dr. And office you don't want to deal with!
