John Murray, M.D., is a University of Florida professor of surgery and chief of the division of plastic and reconstructive surgery in Jacksonville. He is also a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon at UF Health Jacksonville. Dr. Murray received his medical degree from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and also completed residencies in surgery and plastic surgery there. He specializes in aesthetic surgery, body contouring, breast reconstruction, and reconstruction of traumatic and oncologic defects.

Dr Murray and his staff are kind, courteous and professional. I was very satisfied with my appointment. I felt very comfortable and felt like Dr Murray listened and truly cared about my feelings and what I had to say. He also took the time to explain everything and I never felt rushed or belittled. Gold standard of care. Top notch doctor!!!

The facility was very nice. Dr. Murray was a joy. He listened to my concerns and we came up with a game plan. He really listened to me, spent time explaining my options, and was very pleasant. I have total confidence in his abilities. Dr. Murray should give a clinic to other doctors on being a compassionate doctor.
