Dr. John Tobias Musser, MD

I had chronic hip pain for years. I was told I had arthritis, but Dr. Musser determined it was a labral tear. He then did PRP injections under ultrasound and two weeks later, I was pain free for the first time in years. Thanks Dr. Musser!!!

I learned of Dr. Musser through my husband who had become one of his patients and was quite pleased with the results of his treatment. When I later experienced knee pain then, still later, hip pain, I went to see Dr. Musser. I was told by another orthopedic doctor that both conditions would need surgery, but Dr. Musser was able to relieve my joint pain now for 4 months and expects at least 1 year of benefit from his treatments. He has great competence and I trust his care.

I saw Dr. Musser for my hip arthritis. He has helped me with the hip pain, which is great, but he also has helped me with some other neurological issues I’ve been dealing with that even my own neurologist didn’t pick up on. I know Dr. Musser was at the Shepherd Center for years, which I know is a great place too. His knowledge was well appreciated. I would highly recommend him. He has a great bedside manner and a great smile!

I felt very comfortable with My visit with Dr Musser. He was very compassionate and listened well. Not too bad looking either:) I trust I am in good hands. He came well recommended and I see why.

We are so glad we were referred to Dr Musser. My dad’s neck has been on fire for 7 months. Dr Musser sat down with us and explained his MRI findings and why he was feeling the severe pain. Then, after a set of injections, 99% of his pain is gone. It’s now 3 months later and he is still doing great. I think he is a wonderful physician. He listens well and is a very good teacher. We will be back if any other pain issue pop up.

I had a great follow up appointment with Dr Musser after undergoing a procedure for my lower back pain. With one injection I am back to normal and no longer suffering. He is optimistic that we can put off surgery for a while, hopefully a long time from now. He was very thorough and very knowledgeable and skilled. I liked his sense of humor and calm demeanor. I am having my mother see him next month for her knee pain. I would obviously recommend him to others. His staff is also great and the clinic is beautiful.

Saw Dr. Musser a couple of months about low back pain from a car accident. I was very pleased with the check in process, the wait time, his nurse, and was blown away by Dr. Musser's compassionate nature and ability to talk to me like an individual, rather than talk down to me. He was truly sympathetic in my pain, and was willing to help me get to the bottom of it. I would recommend this doctor to anyone and everyone.

I have been seen by many pain doctors over the years and by far, Dr. Musser is my favorite. He is very caring and takes time to listen to me and my symptoms. I would recommend him to my family. He has given me hope and has provided excellent care.
