Dr. John Daniel Ng, MD

Because it was hard to make an appointment with an ENT doctor at OHSU, I was suggested that I see Dr. Ng for my synkinesis botox treatment due to facial paralysis. On my first consultation, Dr. Ng told me that he was fully confident to perform this treatment. I have provided a doctor's note from my previous doctor, and he said that he would just do the routine touch-up for my first procedural appointment. A few days after my botox injection by Dr. Ng, I noticed my face was not moving normally, and it was hard for me to pronounce some words or even smile. I wrote him my corn, and his assistant wrote me back on behalf of him (He did not even have courage to write me back directly to admit the mistake he made and never apologized for his action), saying there was nothing he could do. I sought a second opinion from another specialist, and she informed me that Dr. Ng did not inject botox into the right place or right amount. She kindly offered to write to Dr Ng on what to do to fix my… facial movement, and despite he initially said there had been nothing he could do, he asked me to go back to his office to correct the issue. On my follow up appointment, he told me that from next time, I should not see him for synkinesis treatment and that I should see him for eye related concerns. He not only broke my trust but also failed to show his care or courage to admit his mistake. On top of that, he charged a ridiculous amount of charge for my follow-up correction visit. Horrible doctor.

He messed up my eyes and tried to cover his mistake. Not responsible or experienced. Not recommend at all.

Do not go see him as he messed up my face horribly. His office receptionist Ann is also rude and aggressive. Avoid this poor office.

I felt very confident with Dr Ng. My expectations were good and the outcome was even better than I expected. His staff is very professional and friendly.
