Dr. John Francis Noon, MD

John Noon did breast reduction 15 years ago--I am in pain every day, disfigured left breast and would only remove the amount of tissue he thought appropriate not what I wanted. (the only surgeon insurance would pay for), He completely blew off my post-op concerns and said the disfigurement would only be noticed if I showed it to people!!! And, I am not talking about general scarring.

A while back, Dr. Noon did a breast reconstruction following my mastectomy. It turned out misshapen and wrinkled. He had told me prior to the surgery that there was about a 10% chance of such an outcome. At an appointment afterward, all I said was that I wished mine had not turned out to be one of those. I said it very calmly, with no personal attack on him. He rsponded angrily, saying that I just did not like my scar and, "You just want your breast back, that's all! That's it, you just want your breast back!" His tone was angry and rude. I had not even said anything against my scar, and in fact was pleased with that aspect of the results. He apparently is very touchy about any comments that are not full praise and has a bad temper. I never went back after that appointment.

I had to have reconstruction of my nose following skin cancer. He has been wonderful, caring and awesome during the long process of reconstruction. He even calls me for follow ups after each surgery. One more surgery to go on Monday.

I definately do NOT recommend this surgeon for reconstructive breast surgery.This doctor totally sliced me up. I cannot look at myself in the mirror any more, it is that bad.Everything that he told me a surgeon should NEVER do, he did.This doctor doesn't like criticism of his work and wouldn't give a straight answer to my questions.He never spent more than 5 minutes with me during office visits and never saw me after surgery in the hospital. He always seemed to be in a hurry to go somewhere else. Additionally, this doctor has a high-strung temperament and a quick temper.
